    摘要: The present invention aims to provide a control system which is capable of building high-precision current detecting means in a single-chip LSI and can be realized at a lower cost, and a semiconductor device used in the control system. Drive circuits are provided inside the same semiconductor chip. The drive circuits are equipped with: current detecting shunt resistors each of which is provided in each of the drive circuits and detects a current flowing through a load, the current detecting shunt resistors being provided within a semiconductor chip by the same process; a dummy resistor provided within the semiconductor chip by the same process as the current detecting shunt resistors; and a calibration reference externally attached to the semiconductor chip and connected to the dummy resistor. A correcting means corrects the values of currents that flow through the current detecting shunt resistors, using the dummy resistor and the calibration reference.

    摘要: A brushless motor system which can suppress adverse influences of electromagnetic noise without increasing the size and enhancing the performance of a filter circuit. In a brushless motor system comprising a brushless motor, an inverter, and a direct current power source, a noise return line for returning a noise current is connected between the brushless motor and the inverter. The noise current is generated in the inverter and reaches the brushless motor. With the provision of the noise return line, a common mode current leaking from the brushless motor to a ground can be reduced.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to improve reliably of an on-chip redundancy system by preventing influence of a physical failure exerted on an entire semiconductor chip. A comparator measure for comparing outputs of an on-chip redundancy system is mounted on a semiconductor chip different from the on-chip redundancy system. The another semiconductor chip is, preferably, mounted on a semiconductor chip on which a power source circuit for supplying power to the on-chip redundancy system redundantly having the comparing function in the chip, a driver circuit for driving an output circuit, and the like are mounted. With the configuration, the influence of a failure occurring in the on-chip redundancy system can be prevented from being exerted on the comparator measure.
