The cooking device includes steam generator in its body, and steam generated from steam generator is ejected from a plurality of steam outlet ports provided in steam supply. Steam is introduced into food container through openings of food container disposed opposite to steam outlet ports, and thus food is heated by steam.

Provided is water treatment container in which water treatment material for treating water passing through at least a part of water treatment material is sealed. Water treatment container has water treatment container inlet port, which is an inlet port, and water supply pump connection-part, which is an outlet port, on horizontally opposite ends of water treatment container. Space defined between a surface of an upper inner wall of water treatment container and water treatment material is provided on at least a part of water treatment container from water treatment container inlet port to water supply pump connection-part. According to this configuration, if dust component is accumulated in water treatment material because of water treatment, water flows in space defined between the surface of the upper inner wall of water treatment container and water treatment material, which functions as a bypass. It is thus possible to prevent an increase in a pressure loss and a reduction in a flow rate without degrading water treatment performance.

The heating cooker includes microwave generation devices that transfer microwaves to a cooking chamber, and a steam generation device that generates steam. The generated steam is guided to a first container, and a second container is provided on the first container. Then, a first foodstuff in the first container is heated by microwaves, and is also directly heated by the steam. A second foodstuff in the second container is heated by the microwaves, and is also indirectly heated by the steam. Accordingly, the heating cooker provided with cooking container capable of quickly heating a plurality of foodstuffs while improving the taste can be realized by using the heat of the microwaves and the steam.

The steam generating device includes temperature increasing unit that turns water into steam, heat source that supplies heat to temperature increasing unit, and water storage unit that has a recess below temperature increasing unit. Temperature increasing unit of steam generating device is preheated to a predetermined temperature, and water stored in water storage unit contacts with temperature increasing unit. According to this configuration, a large volume of steam can be instantaneously generated, and scale adhesion can be reduced because a scale component dissolves in the water in water storage unit.

The present invention includes water supply tank that stores water, water treatment container that communicates with water supply tank and in which water treatment material for treating water passing through water treatment material is sealed, and water supply pump serving as a water supply device that communicates with water treatment container and sucks up water in water supply tank via water treatment container. Water treatment container is detachably connected to outside of water supply tank. According to this configuration, water treatment container is not always immersed in water in water supply tank, and thus upon replacement of water treatment container, water treatment container can be easily replaced without dripping water and wetting the surrounding area. In addition, mold, bacteria, and the like hardly propagate on an outer side of water treatment container and water treatment container can be kept sanitary.

A heating device for a food item in a food container includes the food container that contains the food items), a cooking container that contains the food container, and a steam generation device that supplies steam into the cooking container. The food container has an opening hole that communicates with an internal space and an external space, and at least one of a food surrounding space provided between an inner wall of the food container and the food items, and between the food items. The food surrounding space and the external space are communicated with each other through the opening hole, and steam is supplied into the cooking container to heat the food items by the steam. Thereby, the heating device for a food item in a food container that can subject the food item in the cooking container to steam heating can be provided.
