摘要: A road safety barrier has a plurality of panels flanking one another at respective vertical lateral edges thereof, made of a material deformable upon impact by a vehicle, and a plurality of vertical support elements supporting the panels. The vertical support elements include a first and a second vertical support member facing one another at the flanked vertical lateral edges of the panels, on opposite sides with respect to two major faces of the panels. The barrier has components for reciprocally blocking the first and the second vertical support member to the two opposite faces of the panels, and longitudinal stiffening elements coupled to the panels at respective upper longitudinal edges thereof.

摘要: A roadside crash cushion (1), comprising: a guide rail (2) fixed to a road surface; a plurality of sliding supports (3), which slidably engage along the guide rail (2); a plurality of collapsible tubular elements (4) arranged horizontally one after another, which are supported by the plurality of sliding supports (3) and which each have a straight development axis and are fixed to the plurality of sliding supports (3). Each collapsible tubular element (4) of the plurality of collapsible tubular elements (4) exhibits a length and a transversal section that are in a reciprocal relation to one another such as to determine an irreversible deformation to compression of the collapsible tubular element (4) which determines the collapse thereof along the development axis thereof when the collapsible tubular element (4) is subjected to an axial force at least equal to a critical force.

摘要: A road safety device has a frame firmly connected to and arranged on a road surface and an irreversibly deformable part connected to the frame for absorbing at least part of the kinetic energy of a vehicle impacting against the road safety device. An associated monitoring system includes a control unit, an image acquiring device connected to the control unit for acquiring at least one image of a vehicle registration number that is nearing the road safety device, a memory for acquiring the image, and a vibration and/or deformation sensor connectable to the frame for detecting a reversible deformation thereof. The sensor is connected to the control unit. The control unit is predisposed to identify an impact of a vehicle against the road safety device on the basis of data received from the sensor.

摘要: A deformation guiding system for a road safety device and a road safety device group, wherein the device has a frame and a deformable longitudinal body with a first end fixed to the frame and a second end. A head is fixable to the second end of the body. A guide rail is reciprocally arranged with respect to the deformable body for identifying a deforming direction thereof which is parallel to the guide rail. Coupling means fixed to the head couple the head to the guide rail for sliding motion along the guide rail. Stabilizing means fixed to the head prevent oscillations of the head about the guide rail. The coupling and stabilizing means are reciprocally arranged and conformed so that, in an impact of a vehicle against the head, the head can slide along the guide rail without oscillating about the guide rail so as to guide the deformation of the deformable body in the deforming direction.

摘要: A frontal-impact crash barrier (1) for use in automobile or motorcycle racing circuits, comprising a plurality of impact-absorbing units (2) arranged in reciprocal contact, each in turn comprising: a longitudinal body (3) having an external lateral surface (15), which is hollow and which is arranged vertically; and a plurality of annular elements (4) which are inserted along the longitudinal body (3) so as to externally embrace the longitudinal body (3) and which are stacked on one another so as to enclose the longitudinal body (3) so that the external lateral surface (15) of the longitudinal body (3) is entirely facing the plurality of annular elements (4). The longitudinal body (3) of each impact-absorbing unit (2) can be made of metal. Each transversal section of the longitudinal body (3) of each impact-absorbing unit (2) has a thickness forming a polygon having five sides, or six sides or seven sides.
