    摘要: Embodiments for determining an optimal configuration for a renewable energy power plant are provided. The power plant, which may be a virtual power plant, includes one or more generator devices and one or more energy storage devices that may be operated to undertake one or more operating applications. Data indicative of the power output of the power plant and the voltage level at the energy storage system connection point is received as an input. Using this data, combinations of energy storage devices and operating applications stored on a database are processed and, for each energy storage and operating application pair, a value indicative of the profitability of undertaking the operating application is determined. These values are used to rank the combinations of energy storage devices and operating applications according to their profitability, which in turn is used to select the most efficient or profitable application/energy storage pair.

    摘要: The present invention teaches silicone polyether copolymers with a low degree of polymerization (3 to 4 Si units) provide control for foams generated by organosilicone based surfactants in water without the need for an additional antifoam component. The copolymer foam control agent is a compound of the formula(CH.sub.3).sub.3 SiO[SiO(CH.sub.3).sub.2 ].sub.X [SiOCH.sub.3 R.sup.1 ].sub.Y Si(CH.sub.3).sub.3wherein X+Y=1 to 2, Y.gtoreq.1, R.sup.1 is an alkyleneoxide group of the formula C.sub.a H.sub.2a O(C.sub.3 H.sub.6 O).sub.z R.sup.2 wherein a=3 to 4, z is 1 to 15, R.sup.2 is hydrogen, a hydrocarbon radical of 1 to 4 carbons or acetyl. This invention provides compositions for use in agricultural formulations that give improved foam control for foams generated from organosilicone surfactants in aqueous systems. The copolymer foam control agent is soluble in a surfactant matrix comprised of an organosilicone surfactant alone or in mixtures with short chain conventional surfactants. This invention provides clear, homogeneous, low foaming agricultural formulations having of a water insoluble copolymer foam control agent, and a water soluble or dispersible trisiloxane or tetrasiloxane alkoxylates when said formulation is used in an aqueous mixture.

    摘要: The present invention provides an energy storage device for spacecraft application. The energy storage device includes an energy storage component including a plurality of cells. Each cell has a minimum shelf life. The energy storage device also includes a first interface to an external power source configured for charging of the energy storage component, a second interface to a spacecraft for outputting power from the energy storage component and a third interface for communicating to spacecraft. The energy storage device further includes a charge controller operatively coupled with the energy storage component and the first, second and third interface. The charge controller includes an internal power supply configured to provide power for the charge controller. The charge controller also includes a microprocessor incorporating a firmware to accommodate a system configuration of the energy storage component.

A laser ablates the propellant to create an ionized exhaust plasma that is non-interfering with a trajectory path of expelled ions. Multiple HELP thrusters may be ganged together, and controlled, according to mission criteria.
