Local motion-aligned temporal confidence parameters are determined. Local spatial orientation parameters are determined. The local motion vectors, the local motion-aligned temporal confidence parameters, and the local spatial orientation parameters are used to adaptively determine spatio-temporal kernel weights. The spatio-temporal kernel weights are used to perform spatio-temporal filtering on input video data.

A method for multi-scale spatio-temporal steering kernel regression may include repeatedly spatially downsampling input video data, thereby obtaining spatially downsampled video data at a coarsest spatial resolution scale. The spatially downsampled video data at the coarsest spatial resolution scale may be temporally upscaled to generate an estimate of temporally upscaled video data at the coarsest spatial resolution scale. The temporal upscaling may be achieved using spatio-temporal steering kernel regression. Estimates of the temporally upscaled video data may be repeatedly spatially upscaled to generate an estimate of the temporally upscaled video data at the original spatial resolution. The spatial upscaling may be achieved using spatio-temporal steering kernel regression.

An object of the present invention is to provide a hot-dip galvanized steel sheet which is excellent in adhesion with a hot-dip galvanized zinc layer, and has high tensile strength and good formability even when a steel sheet containing Si and Mn in relatively larger amounts is used as a basis steel sheet. The swellings are formed such that when one link plate set rotates around a rotational axis relative to the preceding set having completed the engagement with the sprocket, the swellings of the one link plate set project outwardly from a circle defined by the minimum radius centering on the rotational axis and osculating the sprocket tooth flank to be meshed with the outside flank located on the trailing side of the one link plate set. The link plate teeth stay in sliding contact at their outside flanks with the sprocket teeth from the beginning of their engaging process through its completion to thereby ease engagement impacts and noises.

Disclosed is a polyolefin fiber having an improved initial elongation, which comprises a strongly drawn body of a composition comprising ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene and an ultra-high-molecular-weight copolymer of ethylene with an olefin having at least 3 carbon atoms at such a ratio that the content of the olefin having at least 3 carbon atoms in the entire composition is such that the number of side chains per 1000 carbon atoms in the composition is 0.2 to 5.0 on the average, and having an intrinsic viscosity (.eta.) of at least 5 dl/g as the entire composition, wherein the strongly drawn body has at least two crystal melting endothermic peaks, close to each other, in the region of temperature higher by at least 15.degree. C. than the inherent crystal melting temperature (Tm) of the composition determined as the main melting endothermic peak at the second temperature elevation when measured in the restrained state by a differential scanning calorimeter.
