摘要: A method of separating a first gaseous component from a gas mixture comprising a first gaseous component and a second gaseous component comprising passing the gaseous mixture into an adsorption zone containing an adsorbent material capable of preferentially adsorbing at least one of the gaseous components in the gaseous mixture, to separate the first gaseous component from the second gaseous component wherein the adsorbent material is a monolithic wheel having a plurality of channels throughout, the channels being aligned parallel to the direction of flow of the gaseous mixture and having a wall thickness of less than 1 mm and recovering the non-preferentially adsorbed gaseous component from the adsorption zone. Preferably, the adsorption zone comprises multiple layers of monolithic structures in the shape of a wheel stacked one upon the other in a direction parallel to the direction of the flow of the gaseous mixture and formed by spirally winding a sheet of corrugated adsorbable material about a hub.

摘要: An air prepurification system which includes vertically oriented adsorption vessels containing, from top to bottom, a layer of moisture-selective adsorbent, a first layer of carbon dioxide-selective adsorbent and a second layer of carbon dioxide-selective adsorbent wherein the particle size of carbon dioxide-selective adsorbent in the second layer of carbon dioxide-selective adsorbent is smaller than the particle size of both the moisture-selective adsorbent and the carbon dioxide-selective adsorbent in the first layer of carbon dioxide-selective adsorbent. The air purification system is designed for use in a temperature swing adsorption process in which air is passed downwardly through the adsorption vessels during the adsorption step and upwardly through the vessels during the adsorbent regeneration step.

摘要: Systems and methods for improving the delivery of interactive advertisements are discussed herein. Systems and methods include approaches and solutions for boosting the rank of certain ads and/or ad types based on a combination of their interaction type and an ad interaction history for a given user, vertical, or aggregate indicator. Systems and methods also include suppressing ads unlikely to be interacted with from ranking and format boosting based on such ad interaction history.

摘要: A computer-implemented method includes obtaining road sensor data reflecting speeds of traffic on road segments, transforming the road sensor data using vehicle probe data for the road segments reflecting vehicle speeds, and producing speed estimates for the road segments using the transformed road sensor data. The method can further include determining speeds for road segments between road sensors by smoothing data from sensors near the road segments.

摘要: This invention provides a process for the detoxification of chemical agents including chemical warfare agents such as sulfur mustards, nitrogen mustards, nerve agents of G and V type, lewisite and adamsite by reacting the chemical agents with hydroxyl radicals at a pH greater than 7.0 to detoxify the agents and to render them suitable for disposal. The process can be used on-site and can be easily scaled to fairly large sizes.
