摘要： A dispersant composition comprising the product of an amine, an alcohol, or an amino alcohol, with a hydrocarbyl-substituted succinic anhydride component exhibits improved viscosity stability and reduced chlorine content, when the hydrocarbyl-substituted succinic anhydride component comprises: (a) 10 to 95 weight percent of a component prepared by reacting a polyisobutylene with maleic anhydride in the presence of chlorine; and (b) 5 to 90 weight percent of a component prepared by reacting a polyisobutylene with maleic anhydride in the substantial absence of chlorine.

摘要： In a method of operating an internal combustion engine, a nitrogen-containing detergent composition is introduced into a combustion chamber of the engine wherein the detergent composition can improve the performance of both a fuel composition and a lubricating oil of the engine. The detergent composition contains (A) a reaction product of a hydrocarbyl-substituted acylating agent and an amine, (B) a hydrocarbyl-substituted amine, (C) a Mannich reaction product, (D) a high molecular weight polyetheramine, or (E) a mixture thereof.

摘要： An apparatus for controlling the opening and closing operation of a liquid flow valve dispensing fluid fed thereto from a reservoir, using the inherent gas pressure from the reservoir, comprising in combination (a) an actuator means operably connected to the flow valve for opening and closing the same; and (b) control means for controlling the operation of the actuator means, the control means comprising circuitry having pneumatic linear timer means and pneumatic control valve means operably connected one to another and to the actuator means. Also disclosed is a method of controlling the opening and/or closing operation of a liquid flow valve dispensing liquid fed thereto from a reservoir, using the inherent gas pressure from the reservoir.
