摘要： This relates to cartons or packages which are sealed in a manner wherein they cannot be opened no matter how careful one is without giving an indication of tampering. In one form of the invention, an outermost closure panel is provided with a tuck flap which extends down between inner and outer panels of a double wall carton body wall and the inner surface of the tuck flap is bonded to the exterior surface of an inner panel to provide an inaccessible bond. Panels of cartons which are bonded together and have an accessible seam may be provided with an arrangement of weakening lines so that if one attempts to destroy the bond using a knife or razor blade, the exposed outer panel will give evidence of rupturing and thus indicate tampering even though the two panels are later resealed. If desired, the inner of the two panels may also have an arrangement of weakening lines which match that of the exterior panel and the weakening lines may be arranged in rows extending transversely of the panels so that the bonded together panels may be readily torn to effect an opening of the package.

摘要： This relates to a sealed carton formed of paperboard which is provided with tamper indicating features. First of all, the ends of the carton are formed of a combination of partial and full closure flaps and the full closure flaps are provided with weakened areas so that if the closure flaps are attempted to be separated, there will be a rupture of either one or both of the full closure flaps so as to indicate attempted tampering. On the other hand, if an attempt is made to open the carton along the joint between the body panel and the connecting panel, the connecting panel carries at opposite ends thereof closure flaps which are incorporated in the ends of the carton and there is a weakening line arrangement such that rupture of the closure flaps carried by the connecting panel from the connecting panel will occur to indicate an attempt to tamper.

The method includes normalizing the data from the data source, such as by removing white space and replacing data strings. One or more data strings are selected for use as preliminary selection criteria. The preliminary selection criteria are then used to search for one or more matches in the normalized data from the data source. If no match is found, one or more data strings are selected for use as secondary selection criteria. A correlation score is calculated if at least one match is found using the preliminary selection criteria.

摘要： A bypass channel (C) for fish extends along line one side of a river, for the full length of a section of the river in which reservoirs (22, 24, 26, 28) have been created by dams (14, 16, 18, 20). The channel (C) follows the grade of the natural river. It includes an inner wall (34) that varies in height so that it is always higher than the water level in any of the reservoirs. In at least its taller regions, the inner wall (38) may be braced by a diagonal member or a system of member (40). Water flow into the channel (C) maybe regulated by horizontal and/or vertical gates (50, 52) or some other structure for changing the cross sectional area of the channel (C).

摘要： The present invention relates to genetic mutations in mitochondrial genes that segregate with diabetes mellitus. The invention provides methods for detecting such mutations, as a diagnostic for diabetes mellitus, either before or after the onset of clinical symptoms. Examples of specific mutations in the mitochondrial ATP synthase 8/6 gene and tRNA lysine gene are given. The invention also provides treatments for dysfunctions due to mitochondrial genes that segregate with diabetes mellitus. Cybrid cell lines are described which are useful as model systems for the study of the mitochondrial metabolic disorders that are associated with diabetes mellitus, and for identifying therapeutic compounds and treatments for this disease.

摘要： A carton for packaging one or two layers of flanged tubs. The bottom panel is formed from adhesively connected overlapping flaps which contain cutouts. Lower portions of the tubs extend through openings in the bottom panel formed by the cutouts. Tabs foldably connected to the inner overlapping bottom panel flap prevent adhesive from contacting the tubs and also strengthen the bottom panel. When two layers of tubs are packaged support flaps connected to the side panels extend between the stacked tubs of the upper and lower layers.
