摘要： A battery package for an integrated circuit having a container member with a floor and side walls; a pair of grooves through the inside surface of the side walls. A battery is disposed within the container, connected to two generally planar, electrically conductive contacts each having generally perpendicular, integral, pin portion formed on one end thereof. Each contact is attached to one of the battery terminals such that its pin is positioned within one of the grooves and extends above said upper container surface. The second contact is attached such that the portion of said second contact next adjacent said pin is positioned on a platform within the groove. A sealing composition envelops the battery, contacts, and a portion of the pins. The package is electrically attached to a dual-in-line integrated circuit member and the junction is sealed.

摘要： Lighting devices using selectively permeable barrier elements, graphite sheet materials, and/or browning agent destroyers/sequestering agents are disclosed. In one embodiment a lighting device may include a body or housing with a selectively permeable barrier element, such as a silicone membrane or o-ring to allow diffusion of contaminants from one or more interior volumes to the exterior environment. Contaminants may be mitigated through use of a sequestering agent/browning agent destroyer. Heat conduction between elements of the housing, such as to aid removal of heat generated from a lighting element such as an LED, may be improved through use of graphite materials, such as PGS sheets between housing elements.

摘要： A support frame for a drawer-type dishwasher includes a top section and opposing side sections formed from a plurality of support members which define an open lattice work and establish a cavity for a slidable dishwasher drawer. The support frame also includes first and second rail supports that are provided on respective ones of the opposing side sections. The first and second rail supports are designed to support corresponding first and second extensible rails which, in turn, support the wash tub for movement relative to the frame. In addition, the support frame includes lid support elements for a mechanism that provides shifting of a lid member relative to the wash tub.

摘要： Synthetic lubricant base stocks having an increased viscosity are disclosed. These synthetic lubricant base stocks comprises a mixture of (1) oligomers prepared from a linear olefin having from 10 to 24 carbon atoms; and (2) alkylated anisole having an alkyl group containing from 10 to 24 carbon atoms. These synthetic lubricant base stocks may be prepared by co-reacting a linear olefin having from 10 to 24 carbon atoms and anisole. Optionally, the mixture of oligomers and alkylated anisoles may be hydrogenated, to prepare a mixture of reduced oligomers and alkylated methoxycyclohexanes.

摘要： A process is disclosed for preparing synthetic lubricant base stocks having improved properties. Synthetic lubricant base stocks may be prepared in good yield by oligomerizing linear olefins using certain acidic calcium montmorillonite clay catalysts. When a mixture of propylene and long-chain alpha-olefin is used, in which up to about 20 wt. % of the mixture comprises propylene, and the co-oligomers prepared therefrom are hydrogenated, a synthetic lubricant base stock having a lower pour point and a higher viscosity index is prepared.

摘要： A corrosion-inhibited antifreeze composition is disclosed. Specifically, the antifreeze composition comprises a major portion of a liquid alcohol freezing point depressant and a minor portion of at least one hydroxyl-substituted aromatic carboxylic acid having the hydroxyl radical disposed proximate to the carboxylic radical. The above described acid is employed as a corrosion inhibitor. Other conventional corrosion inhibitors may be employed in conjunction with the acids.In another embodiment, the present invention relates to a process for inhibitig the corrosion of metals present in the cooling system of an internal combustion engine which comprises intimately contacting the metal surface to be inhibited against corrosion with the antifreeze composition described above. Most preferably, the target substrate is high lead solder.

摘要： A process for the production of detergent range alcohols and ketones by reacting an alkane with a hydroperoxide in the presence of a transition metal acetylacetonate catalyst is described. Preferred hydroperoxides include cumene hydroperoxide and tertiary butyl hydroperoxide. The transition metal itself may be iron, ruthenium, chromium and mixtures thereof. If iron acetylacetonate is used as a catalyst, copper (II) acetate may be usefully employed as a co-catalyst.
