    摘要： An improved heat dissipation device particularly suited for removing heat from a surface mounted integrated circuit component coupled to a printed circuit board in a portable computer. Vias, which are at least partially filled with a heat conductive material, improve heat transfer between a component and a heat conductive block mounted on opposite surfaces of the circuit board. A first section near one end of the heat pipe is attached to the heat conductive block in a channel formed receptive to the heat pipe. A second section of the heat pipe including the second end is attached to a metal plate which is affixed beneath the keyboard. Heat from the component flows through the vias to the block and is transferred by the heat pipe to the metal plate where it is dissipated.

    摘要： A method for authenticating a terminal subscriber identity module in an IM domain includes: sending an AV request to an HSS by the S-CSCF; sending a request message for acquiring the AV to a home device of the UE upon receiving the AV request by the HSS; allocating an SQN for the UE upon receiving the request message, generating an AV based on the SQN, and sending the AV to the HSS by the HLR; sending the AV to the S-CSCF by the HSS; and authenticating the terminal subscriber identity module of the UE according to the AV by the S-CSCF. A system for authenticating a terminal subscriber identity module in an IM domain includes: UE, an S-CSCF, a home device of the UE and an HSS. The invention enables a USIM subscriber to use IM services without changing the USIM card.

The tunable filter comprises an input optical fiber for launching an optical signal into the tunable filter; a collimator disposed for collimating light transmitted from the input optical fiber; a grating disposed for dispersing the collimated light according to wavelength in a dispersion plane; a first reflector disposed for reflecting at least a partial of the dispersed light to a second reflector; a second reflector disposed for reflecting the dispersed light back to the grating; a third reflector disposed for reflecting the transmitted dispersed light from the grating back to the grating, wherein then the second reflector reflects the transmitted dispersed light to the first reflector, the first reflector reflects the transmitted dispersed light back to the grating, the collimator receives the transmitted dispersed light from the grating and substantially focusing it to a focal point; and an output optical fiber disposed at the focal point for receiving the focused light; wherein one of the reflectors is rotated to selectively reflect the dispersed light having a predetermined wavelength.

    摘要： A communication device is described that includes a POTS interface system, a processing system, a conversion system, a voice interface system, and a digital interface system. When in operation, the POTS interface system receives analog voice signals for a call. The POTS interface system converts the analog voice signals from analog to digital to generate digital voice signals. The processing system performs an application on the digital voice signals to provide a presentation format of the digital voice signals of the call to a user. The conversion system then converts the digital voice signals into analog voice signals and a voice interface system transmits audible signals to the user. The digital interface system receives digital data signals from a data service provider and the processing system performs an application on the digital data signals to provide additional data to the user.
