摘要: Devices, systems, and methods are disclosed to offload the usage of a cellular network by intelligent selection of broadband network connections such as Wi-Fi access points. A Wi-Fi transceiver on a mobile device is activated when certain conditions are met, such as a time, location, recognition of a radiofrequency (RF) environment, etc. The conditions are correlated with a database of known locations in which a one or more Wi-Fi access points are determined to exist. The Wi-Fi transceiver on the mobile device is activated and commanded to connect to a particular Wi-Fi access point. Dynamic intelligence ensures that the appropriate connection method is used, and minimizes handovers to networks or access points that are unreliable or that are predicted to become inaccessible to the mobile device.

摘要: The disclosed architecture provides a co-siting solution to the many different proprietary systems that are being sold today for cellular communications. The architecture is a universal multi-purpose signal distribution chassis for conditioning and distributing cellular communications signals by providing the interface to a wide variety of cellular communications equipment on the market. A receive interface receives signals, amplifies the signals, and splits (or distributes) the signals for communications to various pieces of equipment and technologies that can be employed in a base station tower system, for example. This is particularly useful in co-siting situations where many different types of technologies and equipment are hosted by one set of antennas.

摘要: A system and methodology that provides management services during local breakout at a femto access point (FAP) is provided. In particular, the FAP facilitates policy management and employs a policy component to perform an analysis and enforce a set of policies for dynamically selecting an optimal route for traffic received at the FAP based on a decision-making process. Typically, the set of policies can specify different routes based on various factors, such as, but not limited to, type of traffic, current and/or future network resource availability, current time, day and/or date, location of the FAP, location of a UE sending/receiving the traffic, a lowest cost route, and/or route based on cost-benefit, etc. Further, a monitoring component is employed to observe the route employed by that traffic, which can be utilized by various services, such as, billing, Quality of Service, security management, address management, failure management and/or provisioning.

摘要: The needle thread-break monitor for embroidery machines comprises a double-armed rocking lever acting as a switch in an electrical circuit of an alarm system. The rocking lever is mounted on a bearing shaft forming one pole or terminal of the switch. The other pole or terminal of the switch is formed by a limit or abutment shaft arranged substantially vertically above and extending substantially parallel to the bearing shaft. The arm of the rocking lever not having a thread guide cooperates with the limit shaft, which carries a sleeve of electrically insulating material forming a stop limiting the open position of the switch. The arm of the rocking lever having a thread guide cooperates with the sleeve. The sleeve is rotatable between a terminal or limit position on the terminal or limit shaft enabling electrical contact and another limit position inhibiting electrical contact. The sleeve serves as a support for a needle thread in the relaxed or non-tensioned state. These measures permit the design of a simple yet reliable needle thread-break monitor which fulfills all requirements.

摘要: Efficient utilization and management of integrated mobile base station carrier trees is provided herein. Such trees provide an organizational structure for allocating calls in a code division, tone division, time division and/or like mobile infrastructure. Calls can be allocated to portions of the carrier tree as a function of characteristic(s) associated with the call. Accordingly, like calls are grouped within the carrier tree with like calls. In addition, portions of the carrier tree can be re-allocated to different types of traffic to meet fluctuations in traffic demand. Further, calls can be re-packed from existing segments of the carrier tree to other segments to maintain calls having common characteristics in contiguous groups, and to maintain idle segments another contiguous group(s). Accordingly, the wireless carrier tree can be packed and managed more efficiently, providing greater throughput and reduced contention for resources.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method of reducing the total organic carbon (TOC) content of waste water in the course of the preparation of concentrated solutions or suspensions of anionic organic compounds, which method comprises increasing the concentration of an aqueous solution or suspension of an anionic organic compound in the form of its free acid or its alkali metal salt, having a salt content of less than 5% of extraneous salt by weight based on the total solution or suspension, by microfiltration, ultrafiltration and/or nanofiltration, a) the membrane pore size being so selected that compounds having molecular weights in the range from 300 to 1000 Daltons or higher are retained, and b) the content of anionic compound in the concentrate being so adjusted to from 10 to 50% by weight that the total organic carbon (TOC) content of the permeate is less than 0.5% by weight, based on the total permeate, and c) optionally, after increasing the concentration of a suspension, dissolving the anionic organic compound by adding a suitable base. The invention relates also to the solutions and suspensions prepared by that means and to the use of such solutions or suspensions in dyeing or optically whitening paper or textile materials.
