    摘要: A system for controlling an electro-magnetic clutch of an internal combustion engine mounted on a vehicle, which is capable of eliminating residual magnetism during operation of a shift lever of a transmission. The electro-magnetic clutch has a drive member secured to a crankshaft of the internal combustion engine, a magnetizing coil provided in the drive member and a driven member adjacent said drive member. A neutral switch is provided for detecting when the shift lever is in a neutral position and a shift lever switch is provided for producing a signal during operation of the shift lever for the transmission. Both signals of the neutral switch and the shift lever switch are fed to a control circuit. The control circuit is so arranged that the current flowing through the magnetizing coil is inverted in dependency on the output signals of the neutral switch and shift lever switch, so that the residual magnetism in the clutch may be eliminated.

    摘要: A system for controlling an electro-magnetic clutch of an internal combustion engine mounted on a car which is capable of controlling the clutch current after the gear-changing for providing the partial engagement of the clutch. The electro-magnetic clutch has a drive member secured to a crankshaft of the internal combustion engine, a driven member adjacent the drive member, which is coupled to a transmission of the car and a magnetizing coil provided in one of the members. A shift lever signal is provided during the operation of the shift lever of the transmission and an acceleration signal is provided according to the operation of the accelerator pedal of the car. A control circuit comprises a charging circuit operated by the shift lever signal, a standard voltage circuit responsive to the acceleration signal, and a comparator connected to the charging circuit and standard voltage circuit for producing an output signal for a period of time which is decided by the level of the acceleration signal. A gate circuit is operated by the output signal of the comparator for controlling the clutch current passing through the magnetizing coil.

    摘要: A system for a four-wheel drive vehicle automatically changes a two-wheel driving system to a four-wheel driving system in accordance with a slipping rate between the wheels. The system is provided with a pressure oil operated clutch for transmitting the power of the engine to auxiliary driving wheels. The clutch is engaged by pressure oil supplied by a pressure oil circuit including a solenoid operated valve. An electric circuit comprising a control device is provided for energizing the solenoid. The control device operates to close the electric circuit in dependency on the slipping rate to energize the solenoid. The energization of the solenoid causes the clutch to engage, so that four-wheel driving power transmission system is established. A manual switch is provided for opening the electric circuit.

    摘要: An automatic transmission for a four wheel drive automotive vehicle comprising a torque converter, an automatic transmission connected to a turbine shaft of the torque converter for transmitting the output of the engine to the front-wheel, a fluid operated clutch for transmitting the output to the rear-wheel, and a pressure oil control for operating the automatic transmission. The pressure oil control includes a pressure regulator valve to produce a line pressure according to the operational condition of the engine and a valve for the clutch.
