摘要: Wheel bearing unit with a wheel hub, wherein the wheel hub has an integrally formed wheel flange on one end thereof and an inner ring that is rotatable together with the wheel hub, wherein the inner ring is fastened on the wheel hub through the use of a rolling rivet connection in order to pre-tension a row of rolling elements in relation to an outer ring, and with an encoder provided on the inner ring and extending radially towards the outer ring, and with a protective cover fixed on the outer ring in order to close and seal annular openings formed between the outer ring and the wheel hub, and wherein a cylindrical section of the protective cover is pressed in and wherein a bottom section extends inwardly from the cylindrical section in a radial direction in order to cover an inner-side end of the wheel hub, wherein the cylindrical section is joined with a substance bond to the outer ring and wherein the substance-bond connection is produced through the use of a hardening fluid and wherein the fluid is held in a filling reservoir provided between the cylindrical section and the outer ring.

The bearing seal (2) includes a splash plate (3) configured as a preseal, which is supported on an axially and radially oriented contour (12) of the second bearing part (7), and together with the wheel bearing flange (8), axially defines a catch channel (24). A seal fitting (4) is fixed to the first bearing part (5) by a reinforcement (22), wherein the reinforcement (22) is enclosed by an elastic sealing material (21), at least in some areas, from which sealing lips (20, 28, 29) are formed, which are grindingly or non-grindingly associated with the splash plate (3). Between the splash plate (3), which abuts, in a line or surface contact, the radially oriented wheel bearing flange (8) via a support zone (10), and the sealing fitting (4), a sealing labyrinth (16) is provided. By way of a resiliently flexible fastening section (11), the splash plate (3) is pressed onto the cylindrical contour (12) of the second bearing part (7) and is pre-stressed in an end position.

摘要: The invention relates to a wheel bearing arrangement of a vehicle axle, including a wheel bearing, which contains at least two rolling element rows, for supporting a wheel hub which can be driven by a drive element. The rolling elements of the wheel bearing are guided in races of a stationary outer ring, the rotating wheel hub, and a separate inner ring which is allocated to the wheel hub. In the assembled state, the wheel hub of the wheel bearing arrangement and the drive element are operatively connected via gearing. The inner ring has a radially stepped inner contour, said inner contour having two diameters which differ from one another, and are received in a complementarily designed receiving area of the wheel hub. The position of the inner ring is fixed on the end face by a rolling riveted collar of the wheel hub.

摘要: The invention relates to a seal arrangement for a wheel bearing, inserted between a first bearing part and a second bearing part of the wheel bearing, which includes a pre-seal designed as a centrifugal disk and a seal set having sealing lips and a reinforcement. The seal set is attached to the first, torsionally fixed bearing part by a reinforcement which is surrounded at least partially by an elastic sealing material. A radial edge of a centrifugal disk engages with play in an opening that is delimited radially by the sealing material, said centrifugal disk being fixed to the second bearing part via a radial leg and including a catch groove. Together with the seal set, the centrifugal disk forms a seal labyrinth.
