Abstract: A device for manufacturing an organic substance, including: a synthesis gas generation unit for generating a synthesis gas; an impurity concentration reducing unit including an adsorbent which is capable of adsorbing impurities contained in the synthesis gas, and produces a purified gas by contact of the adsorbent with the synthesis gas; an organic substance synthesis unit for producing an organic substance-containing solution from the purified gas as a raw material; an extraction unit for extracting the organic substance by heating the organic substance-containing solution; a heating unit for preparing heated gas to be fed to the adsorbent; and a heat supplying unit which supplies the extraction unit with heat of the heated gas fed from the heating unit to the adsorbent.

Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus and a method which are suitable for producing an organic substance using a synthesis gas from a waste gasification furnace. The apparatus 1 for producing an organic substance from waste comprises a synthesis gas generation furnace 11 for generating a synthesis gas by partial oxidation of the waste; and an organic substance production unit 12 for producing an organic substance from the synthesis gas. The organic substance production unit 12 further comprises: a synthesis unit 13 for synthesizing an organic substance by subjecting the synthesis gas to catalytic reaction in the presence of a metal catalyst, and a fermenter 14 for producing an organic substance by subjecting the synthesis gas to microbial fermentation.

Abstract: A butadiene production system and a butadiene production method are provided in which the yield is high and environmental load can be reduced. The butadiene production system (1) includes: a gas preparation device (10) that heats raw materials to prepare a mixed gas including hydrogen and carbon monoxide; an ethanol production device (12) that is provided downstream of the gas preparation device (10) and brings the mixed gas into contact with a first catalyst to obtain ethanol; a butadiene production device (16) that is provided downstream of the ethanol production device (12) and brings the ethanol into contact with a second catalyst to obtain butadiene; and return means (18) for returning hydrogen, ethylene, and the like, which are produced as by-products in the butadiene production device (16), to the gas preparation device (10). In addition, in the butadiene production method, the butadiene production system (1) is used.

Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus and a method which can be used for improving energy efficiency in production of a chemical product. The apparatus 1 for producing a chemical product comprises a synthesis gas generation unit 11, a synthesis unit 16, and a reforming unit 12. The synthesis gas generation unit 11 generates a synthesis gas by partial oxidation of these carbon sources. The synthesis unit 16 subjects the provided synthesis gas to catalytic reaction so as to synthesize a chemical product. The reforming unit 1 reforms hydrocarbons generated in at least one of the synthesis gas generation unit 11 and the synthesis unit 16 into carbon monoxide and hydrogen, and feeds them into the synthesis unit 16. The reforming unit 12 reforms the hydrocarbons by utilizing heat exhausted from the synthesis gas generation unit 11.
