Abstract: An electric power supply control apparatus for a vehicle decreases a first electric power prior to switching the modes, when a sum of a request value of a second electric power and the first electric power exceeds a total electric power upper limit value in the mode before the switching, and switches the modes after the sum of the decreased first electric power and the request value of the second electric power becomes equal to or smaller than the total electric power upper limit value.

Abstract: There is provide an electric power supply control apparatus for a vehicle comprising a battery, an electric motor, and a temperature controller, the electric power supply control apparatus sets one of upper limit values of driving electric power and temperature controlling electric power at a predetermined value that is equal to or smaller than a total electric power upper limit value without being limited by the other one of the driving electric power and the temperature controlling electric power, and sets the upper limit value of the other one of electric power in a way such that a sum of the upper limit value of the other one of electric power and the one of electric power is equal to or smaller than the total electric power upper limit value.

Abstract: A vehicle control apparatus includes a controller that switches a vehicle between an HEV traveling mode and an EV traveling mode. When the output current of a DC-to-DC converter becomes equal to or higher than a threshold, the controller decreases the output current by decreasing the output voltage of the DC-to-DC converter through output regulation control. The controller makes switching between a normal setting in which the threshold for the output regulation control is set to a reference threshold and a boost setting in which the threshold is set to a boost threshold higher than the reference threshold. The controller prohibits the boost setting when a power margin for boosting becomes equal to or lower than a first power margin value in the HEV traveling mode and when the power margin for the boosting becomes equal to or lower than a second power margin value in the EV traveling mode.

Abstract: The electric power supply control apparatus for a vehicle executes a driving prioritizing mode in which a supply of driving electric power is prioritized over a supply of temperature controlling electric power, and a temperature control prioritizing mode in which the supply of the temperature controlling electric power is prioritized over the supply of the driving electric power. While the modes are switched over, the apparatus controls the driving electric power or the temperature controlling electric power so that a sum of the powers stays at an upper limit value or smaller.

Abstract: A control device includes an engine, a starter motor configured to perform engine start, a direct-current-to-direct-current converter, a battery coupled to the starter motor with the direct-current-to-direct-current interposed therebetween, and a controller. The controller is configured to execute control of switching between first and second traveling modes. The direct-current-to-direct-current converter is configured to supply an electric power of the battery to the starter motor, and to lower an output voltage to be supplied thereto. The controller is configured to execute output limit control of lowering the output voltage to lower the output current, in a case where an output current of the direct-current-to-direct-current converter becomes equal to or higher than a threshold. The controller is configured to initiate boost permitting control when initiating the engine start in association with switching from the second to first traveling mode. The boost permitting control makes the threshold higher than a usual threshold.
