In addition, over the area of the housing where the bottom surface and the inner circumferential surface connect with each other, the bottom surface forms an R-shaped portion and the inner circumferential surface forms a sloping portion or an R-shaped portion.

    摘要: An expansion device capable of preventing an abnormal increase in the high-pressure in a freezing cycle and having, as an integrated unit thereof, a mechanism capable of quickly responding to an abnormal increase in the high-pressure and the low-pressure is provided. A means for displacement (bellows) 28 which becomes displaced in correspondence to the high-pressure is linked to a valve element 24 of a restrictor valve mechanism 32 to displace a rod 34 provided with a safety valve mechanism 33. If the high-pressure reaches a level equal to or higher than a first specific pressure (the limit to the normal operating pressure), a first portion 26 of the safety valve mechanism 33 becomes disengaged from a relief hole 27 that communicates between a high-pressure space 29 and a low-pressure passage 31 to be replaced by a second portion 25 which allows passage through the relief hole 27, thereby leaking the coolant in the high-pressure space 29 to the low-pressure passage 31 and preventing a further increase in the high-pressure. In addition, a low-pressure side rupture disk mechanism 40 that becomes ruptured if the low-pressure reaches a level equal to a second specific pressure to communicate between the low-pressure passage 31 and the atmosphere is provided at the low-pressure passage 31. A high-pressure side rupture disk mechanism 50 that becomes ruptured if the high-pressure reaches a level equal to or higher than a third specific pressure to communicate between the high-pressure passage 30 and the atmosphere is provided at the high-pressure passage 30.

    摘要: A refrigerant compressor is provided. A cylinder block has a plurality of cylinder bores axially formed therethrough. A plurality of pistons are slidably received in the cylinder bores, respectively. A housing is secured to the cylinder block and has a crankcase defined therein. A drive shaft extends through the crankcase and has one end on a cylinder block side. A torque-transmitting member is received within the crankcase and mounted on the drive shaft, for rotation in unison with the drive shaft for converting torque transmitted from the drive shaft into reciprocating motion of each of the pistons. A bearing supports the one end of the drive shaft. The cylinder block has a bearing-receiving chamber having the bearing received therein, a lubricant-collecting groove formed at a rim of a crankcase-side opening of each of at least one of the cylinder bores in a manner such that the lubricant-collecting groove is open to the crankcase, for collecting lubricant therein, and a lubricant supply passage connecting between the lubricant-collecting groove and the bearing-receiving chamber to thereby supply the lubricant collected in the lubricant-collecting groove to the crankcase. The lubricant collected at a bottom of the crankcase is drawn up by rotation of the torque-transmitting member and splashed within the crankcase.

    摘要: In a freezing cycle that utilizes a supercritical fluid as its coolant and employs an internal heat exchanger that performs heat exchange on the coolant on the outlet side of a gas cooler and on the intake side of a compressor, a means for adjustment that adjusts the quantity of heat exchange performed by the internal heat exchanger (4) is provided. The means for adjustment is constituted of a bypass passage (9) that bypasses the internal heat exchanger (4) and a flow-regulating valve (10) that adjusts the coolant flow rate in the bypass passage (9). The flow-regulating valve (10) is constituted of an electromagnetic valve, the degree of openness of which is determined based upon information with respect to the cycle state, or a bellows regulating valve that operates in correspondence to the pressure on the high-pressure side. Alternatively, the means for adjustment may perform adjustment by varying the passage length over which heat exchange is performed by the internal heat exchanger (4). Good cycle efficiency is achieved by maintaining the optimal high-pressure through cycle balance control. The freezing cycle can be temporarily protected against excessively high-pressure or excessively high discharge temperature at the compressor.
