    Abstract: A manufacturing method for a display device includes patterning a pixel defining pattern on a substrate; forming an emission stack structure; forming light emitting elements by etching the emission stack structure; and transferring the light emitting elements on a base layer and a pixel circuit layer including a pixel circuit on the base layer. The forming of the light emitting elements includes patterning the light emitting elements in an element forming area enclosed by the pixel defining pattern. The transferring of the light emitting elements includes disposing the light emitting elements in a sub-pixel area corresponding to the element forming area on the pixel circuit layer.

    Abstract: A display device may include: a substrate; a light emitting element on the substrate; a first pixel electrode on one area of the light emitting element and is electrically connected to the light emitting element; and a second pixel electrode on an other area of the light emitting element and is electrically connected to the light emitting element. The light emitting element may include: a first semiconductor layer, an active layer, and second and third semiconductor layers sequentially arranged along a first direction; and an insulative film covering outer surfaces of the first semiconductor layer, the active layer, and the second and third semiconductor layers.
