    摘要: A water heater in which by applying pulsation of a liquid to be heated which circulates between a tank and a heat exchanger, scale that has been deposited on the inner wall (heat-transfer surface) of a to-be-heated liquid flow channel in a heat exchanger is detached, and the number of times of circulation of the liquid to be heated which circulates between the tank and the heat exchanger is controlled to be three times or less. The number of times of circulation is determined, based on the entire volume of the to-be-heated liquid stored in the tank, a boiling time to be taken for the entire volume of the to-be-heated liquid in the tank to reach a predetermined temperature, and the flow rate of the to-be-heated liquid which passes through the to-be-heated liquid flow channel.

The water heater includes: scale deposition device including a tank, an anode and a cathode provided in the tank so as to be opposed to each other, and a first power supply for applying a voltage between the anode and the cathode, the scale deposition device depositing a scale component dissolved in water retained in the tank; a heat-transfer channel provided at downstream of the scale deposition device, for guiding the water; and a heat source for heating the water by heat exchange in the heat-transfer channel, in which the scale deposition device includes oxygen-gas supplying/dissolving means for supplying an oxygen gas to a water feed pipe for feeding the water to the tank and dissolving the oxygen gas in the water.

    摘要: During a waste water treatment process such as an activated-sludge process using microorganisms, the present invention ozonizes a microorganism-mixed liquid. It reduces the amount of microorganisms remaining, prevents a microorganism floc from sedimenting inappropriately, and recovers appropriate sedimentation while maintaining treatment performance. A waste water ozonization apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention can include a sludge drawing pump which draws a microorganism-mixed liquid from an aeration vessel; an ozonizer for generating ozone gas which reacts with the microorganism-mixed liquid; an ozonization vessel which injects the ozone gas generated by the ozonizer into the drawn microorganism-mixed liquid; an ozonized-sludge channel that returns the ozonized microorganism-mixed liquid to the aeration vessel; and a control section for intermittently performing an ozonization operation.

    摘要: A document management & retrieval system is configured to: store, for each word in a set of words, appearance positions of the each word in a set of documents as a word index; store, for each tag in a set of tags attached to words, a set of words that appear to a right and left of the each tag, and also store, as a tag LR index, appearance positions of the each tag in a set of documents with a combination of the each tag and a word appearing to its right or a combination of the each tag and a word appearing to its left as a key; and, in a tag search where a query phrase contains words and a tag next to each other, refer to the index with a tag and the word to the right or left of the tag as a key, thereby reducing the size of a document list to be read without needing to have a tag name as a secondary key. A tag is updated by just updating two places in the tag LR index.

A first-signature generation means 71 generates a first signature indicating, in a binary manner, whether one piece of data meets each of predetermined multiple description formats. A second-signature generation means 72 generates a second signature of a conversion program, based on the difference between the first signatures of conversion-source data and post-conversion data. When a conversion path candidate generation means 74 generates a candidate for a solution to a data connection problem, an evaluation value calculation means 75 calculates the evaluation value of the candidate using the second signature. A conversion path identification means 76 tries conversion paths to serve as a solution in the descending order of the evaluation values.

    摘要: To improve stereo matching speed and accuracy. An image data input unit 10 acquires image data of plural images of a predetermined region captured from plural different positions. A reference disparity setting unit 12 sets a reference disparity suitable for the plural images. The search range setting unit 13 sets a predetermined range smaller than the image range as a search range for stereo matching, by referring to points in the images between which the reference disparity set by the reference disparity setting unit 12 is provided. A stereo matching unit 11 searches out, for an arbitrary point in one of the plural images, a point in the other image that matches the arbitrary point, from the search range set by the search range setting unit 13, by referring to a point in the other image that provides the reference disparity set by the reference disparity setting unit 12.
