    摘要: An adaptive signal processor using a Newton/least mean square (LMS) algorithm, adapted to remove a signal distortion or noise. The adaptive signal processor is adapted to derive an autocorrelation matrix from an input signal, derive an inverse matrix of the autocorrelation matrix by executing DCT twice or executing DFT and IDFT, and apply the derived inverse matrix to an adaptive signal processing, thereby capable of greatly reducing the total amount of computations to derive the inverse matrix, achieving an easy hardware realization thereof and reducing the manufacture cost thereof.

    摘要: A display device and a driving method thereof are disclosed. The display device includes a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix with each pixel including first and second subpixels. First gate lines are connected to the first subpixel and transmit a first gate-on voltage, second gate lines are connected to the second subpixel and transmit a second gate-on voltage, and data lines are connected to the first and second subpixels and transmit first and second data voltages. The respective first and second data voltages that are applied to the first and second subpixels are obtained from the same image information, the first data voltage is not higher than the second data voltage, and the second data voltage is precharged in the data lines before applying the first data voltage to the first subpixel.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display and a driving method therefor comprises a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix; data lines and gate lines connected to the pixels; a signal controller processing first image data and a plurality of control signals from an external device and transmitting the processed first image data and control signals; and a data driver connected to the signal controller, wherein the signal controller divides the first image data into and sequentially processes a plurality of sets respectively including the first image data for at least two pixel rows, while delaying the remaining image data excluding the last image data among the first image data of each of the sets, and the data driver applies a charge sharing voltages as impulse voltages to the predetermined number of pixel rows during the delayed time, thereby displaying impulse images. In this way, since impulse images are displayed only by delaying image data within the same time and separate black image data are not transmitted, the data transmission frequency is not increased.

The apparatus includes: an image signal creating unit that creates image signals and transmits the image signals to the display device; a plurality of optical sensors receiving light emitted from the display device and generating sensing signals; another communication line that is connectable to the first communication line; and a signal processing unit that controls the image signal creating unit, receives the sensing signal, performs a predetermined process to create driving data for the display device, and transmits the driving data to the driving devices through the communication lines. With the appratus, it is possible to optimize driving data for the display device while taking a characteristic deviation of the display device into account.

    摘要: Provided is a structure for conductive members in a TFT display. The structure is aluminum based and is heat treated. When heat treated, no hillocks are formed because of the presence of a titanium layer. Furthermore, TiAl3 is not formed because of the presence of a TiN diffusion layer between the aluminum and the Ti layers. This novel structure has a low resistivity and is therefore suited for large displays that use thin film transistors to drive the pixels.
