摘要: Methods and systems for waking up an electronic device having a wake-up receiver circuit. A signal is transmitted, carrying a wake-up frame (WUF) including a protocol data unit (PDU). A wake-up sequence is inserted in a portion ahead of the PDU. The wake-up sequence is used by the electronic device for detection of the WUF and identification of the intended recipient. The WUF also includes a wake-up identifier (WUID) that is used by the electronic device to authenticate the WUF.

摘要: An access point (AP) hashes its SSID/BSSID according to a hashing function H and transmits wirelessly the hashed SSID/BSSID within a physical layer frame/packet to a user station (STA). The hashed SSID/BSSID uniquely identifies the AP. In one embodiment, the hashed SSID/BSSID is transmitted within a SIGNAL field of a preamble with the frame/packet. Upon receipt, the user station recovers the hashed SSID/BSSID and compares it to an expected hashed SSID/BSSID (calculated using the same hashing function H and a desired SSID/BSSID). In response to the comparison, the user station performs one or more actions.

摘要: A method, apparatus and system for transmitting control information in a header of a physical protocol data unit (PPDU), such as an IEEE 802.11 compliant PPDU. Embodiments include indicating control features in an EDMG PPDU for Wireless LAN communications. The method and system may include overloading at least one bit of a Scrambler Initialization Field in the PPDU header (e.g. the PHY header) to convey control information, as well as to be used to initialise the scrambler shift register. The same header bits are thus used for both purposes. Examples of control information include a primary channel, channel width or MIMO configuration to be used in further communication.

摘要: A method at a network node that is configured to simultaneously transmit and receive wireless RF signals, comprising: transmitting, from the network node, a downlink message, the downlink message having a preamble that includes channel estimation information for estimating a self-interference channel; monitoring at the network node, during an initial duration while transmitting the downlink message, for the channel estimation information, and estimating a self-interference channel based on received portions of the channel estimation information; and using the estimated self-interference channel to cancel self-interference while receiving an uplink message and simultaneously transmitting a remainder of the downlink message.

摘要: Methods and systems for providing a low-rate data signal. Received input data bits are Manchester modulated onto successive multicarrier symbols in the time domain. Each multicarrier symbol includes orthogonal sub-carrier and a null sub-carrier. A stored waveform can be retrieved to code the sub-carriers. The successive multicarrier symbols are up-converted to a carrier frequency to provide the low-rate data signal, and the low-rate data signal is transmitted.

摘要: The application relates to link adaptation for extremely high throughput (EHT) systems. Various approaches are provided to enable transmission of link adaptation parameters for single-user multiple input multiple output (SU-MIMO), and multi-user multiple input multiple output MU-MIMO. In some embodiments, two control IDs in the A-control subfield are used, one for SU-MIMO and one for MU-MIMO. These can both be reserved control IDs, or a combination of a reserved control ID and control ID 2 normally used for HE link adaptation. In some embodiments, a single control ID in the A-control subfield is used. This can be a reserved control ID or control ID 2 normally used for HE link adaptation.
