摘要： A biaxially oriented white polypropylene film containing a core layer (layer A) and a skin layer (layer B), said layer B is laminated at least on one surface of said layer A, wherein said layer A contains a polypropylene resin having β-crystal activity and 1 to 20 mass % particle (a) having an average dispersed diameter of 60 to 400 nm, and wherein, said layer B contains a polypropylene resin and 0.05 to 5 mass % particle (b) of an average dispersed diameter of 1 to 4 μm. The present invention provides a biaxially oriented white polypropylene film excellent in film quality and productivity and capable of making sensitivity and productivity compatible in a high level when used as a base for a receiving sheet, and a receiving sheet for thermal transfer recording made thereof.

摘要： A power supplying device provides power to the body of an image forming apparatus and an optional device connected to the body of the same. The power supplying device comprises: a rectifier circuit which rectifies an alternating current inputted from an alternating-current source; a booster circuit which boosts and smooths the direct-current voltage caused by the rectifier circuit; a judgment portion which judges whether or not there is an optional device connected to the body of the image forming apparatus; an identification portion which identifies the type of the optional device connected thereto; and a controller which, if there is an optional device connected thereto according to the judgment portion, adjusts the boosted voltage obtained by the booster circuit to a higher value than that if there is no optional device connected thereto, which depends on the type of the optional device identified by the identification portion.

摘要： An object detection method and apparatus in which, in order to distinguish only an echo wave which is returned back from an object of interest, such as an underground buried object, from those echo waves returned back from another object of objects, the observation signal is divided (an electromagnetic wave as an echo wave) into portions, and the signal portion is converted into a corresponding frequency region to evaluate that spectral distribution and computes frequency parameter values from the spectrum distribution. The object of interest is detected by comparing the reference data of various fields with the parameters of the object of interest, extracting only an echo wave returned back from the object of interest and displaying a corresponding image.

摘要： A vapor deposition film has a vapor deposition layer composed of a metal or an inorganic oxide formed on at least one side of a resin layer (A) which is composed of a resin composition (1). The resin composition (1) is a polyglycol acid containing not less than 70% by mole of a specific structure (a structure represented by formula (1)) as a repeating unit. The surface on which the vapor deposition layer is deposited has a center line average roughness of 5-50 nm. The vapor deposition film has excellent gas barrier properties, excellent workability and decomposition resistance sufficient for practical use.
