Thus, the spirally arranged images are moved in the generally circumferential direction of the spiral, in accordance with the movement angle information and the angular velocity information obtained from the operation information. Therefore, compared to a case where an up-down-left-right key or the like is used, a particular one of the images can be selected through intuitive operation.
