    摘要: The injection system has a pump for supplying high-pressure fuel to a storage volume for supplying a number of injectors. The pump has at least one reciprocating pumping element performing a compression stroke synchronously with each fuel injection. The injection system has at least one control device for controlling the amount of fuel supplied by the pump to the storage volume, and which is controlled by a chopper control unit to modulate the fuel volume introduced into the compression chamber during the intake stroke (Ps-Pi). The delivery start instant of the pumping element during the compression stroke being unequivocally defined by the fuel volume introduced.

    摘要: A system for controlling filling a motor-vehicle tank with LPG, comprises: a normally-closed valve, which can be driven in opening by excitation of a solenoid; sensor means, pre-arranged to emit an electrical signal indicating that a pre-set maximum level of LPG in the tank has been reached; and a control member, which can be operated manually for generating an electrical signal indicating the intention to proceed with filling the tank. The system further comprises a control circuit, which is independent of the circuit on board the motor vehicle and which is active even when the vehicle engine is turned off and is pre-arranged for exciting the solenoid of the valve in order to control opening thereof when it receives the aforesaid signal indicating activation of the mode of filling of the tank, and for de-exciting the aforesaid solenoid in order to control closing of the valve when the signal indicating that the pre-set maximum level of LPG in the tank has been reached is received. Preferably, the aforesaid valve is of the servo type, in which the solenoid controls an auxiliary open/close element associated to a pilot hole, opening of which causes opening of a main open/close element.

    摘要: A metering valve has a valve body with a control chamber, a pressurized f supply conduit and a fuel drain conduit. A control rod of a shutter includes an element for hydraulically affecting the fuel supply conduit and the fuel drain conduit so that fuel drainage is considerably reduced. The control rod slides in a first cylindrical portion of the control chamber. A second portion of the control chamber that is coaxial with the first portion forms an annular shoulder against which the element is arrested. The fuel supply conduit is located radially of the first portion, and the fuel drain conduit is located axially of the second portion of the control chamber.

    摘要: In a gas-supply system for internal-combustion engines, a pressure-reducing valve is set between the reservoir of the gas and a distribution manifold or rail that feeds the gas to a series of electromagnetically controlled injectors associated to the various cylinders of the engine. The pressure-reducing valve has a piston member, which is mobile inside the valve body, for controlling said open/close element, and has one end facing a first chamber within said valve body, set in the path of connection of the inlet connector with the outlet connector, and the opposite end facing a second chamber within said valve body. The aforesaid second chamber is connected to the intake manifold of the internal-combustion engine so as to enable any flow of gas that has leaked from said first chamber to said second chamber to be discharged in the engine. Set in connection with the intake manifold is a solenoid shutoff valve, preferably incorporated in the pressure-reducing valve, which is opened automatically upon ignition of the engine.

    摘要: The pump (7) is provided with a body (16) having a compartment (17), and with at least one pumping element (13) that moves in a cylinder (12) in communication with the compartment (17), to raise the pressure of the fuel. The pump (7) comprises fluid-supply means (14, 22) for delivering the fuel to the pumping element (13), and an inlet mouth (26) made in the body (16) and supplied with the fuel coming directly from an external source (2). The inlet mouth (26) is fluidically connected to the compartment (17) to supply it with the fuel in order to lubricate and/or cool the pump (7) itself. Set between the inlet mouth (26) and the compartment (17) are: a non-return valve (33) to prevent in any case the pumping elements (13) from sucking the fuel from the compartment (17) of the body (16); and a flow regulator (29′), which allows an amount of fuel to pass such as to enable proper lubrication and cooling of the compartment (17) and of the parts present in the compartment (17).
