摘要: An optical connector according to the present disclosure includes: optical transmission paths that have end faces aligned in a predetermined region, and transmit optical signals. The optical transmission paths correspond to transmission channels or reception channels. The optical transmission paths of the transmission channels are distributed and arranged on a periphery of the predetermined region as compared with a case where the optical transmission paths of the transmission channels are concentrated and arranged at a center of the predetermined region. This configuration can increase an output of an optical signal, and make it possible to improve transmission quality at a low cost while improving a safety standard.

摘要: Light signal transmitter units 21-1 to 21-n of a transmitter device 20 perform optical communication with a receiver device 40 via optical fiber cables 61-1 to 61-n of an optical interface cable 61. A connection detection unit 22 detects whether connection to the receiver device is established via the optical interface cable, and a visible light source control unit 24 causes a visible light source unit 25 to emit visible light that can identify by an attribute a connection relationship with the receiver device connected via the optical interface cable, only when the connection to the receiver device 40 is not detected, and causes visible light superposition units 26-1 to 26-n to superpose the visible light on the cable. The receiver device also superposes on the cable the visible light that can identify by the attribute the connection relationship with the transmitter device connected via the optical interface cable, only when the connection to the transmitter device 20 is not established, in the same way as the transmitter device. The connection between the optical communication devices can be correctly and easily performed by using the optical transmission path.

摘要: A video signal and an audio signal are TMDS transmitted from a source device to a sink device. Through a reserved line and a HPD line provided separately from a TMDS transmission line, an Ethernet™ signal is bidirectionally transmitted, and also, a SPDIF signal is transmitted from the sink device to the source device. The Ethernet™ signal bidirectionally transmitted between Ethernet™ transmitter/receiver circuits is differentially transmitted by an amplifier and is received by the amplifier. The SPDIF signal from a SPDIF transmitter circuit is common-mode transmitted from an adder and is received by the adder to be supplied to the SPDIF receiver circuit.

The apparatus, method and computer-readable storage medium can receive, at a first frame rate, a first image signal having an image with a first resolution; and output, at a second frame rate, a second image signal comprised of a plurality of images having a second resolution. The first resolution may be greater than the second resolution and the second frame rate may be greater than the first frame rate, so as to satisfy the condition that the first resolution multiplied by the first frame rate is equal to the second resolution multiplied by the second frame rate.

摘要: A collimator lens 311 emits by converting a light signal from an optical fiber cable 20 to a collimated light, for example. The collimator lens 311 is retained in a plug housing 315 coupled to a reception side optical connector of the light signal. When the plug housing 315 is not coupled to the reception side optical connector, the pressing portion 313a sets the position of the collimator lens 311 at a position at which the emitted light signal has a predetermined divergence angle. When the optical connectors of the transmission side and the reception side are not connected, the light signal emitted from the optical connector of the transmission side is dispersed, and therefore emission of the light signal is prevented from giving a bad influence to a visual perception function or the like.

The second light emitter is configured to transmit a second optical signal for transmission through the optical cable. The second optical signal transmitted by the second light emitter is reflected by the region when the connector is connected in the second orientation different from the first orientation.

摘要: Transmission of stereo image data may be performed between devices, where a source device receives E-EDID from a sink device via DDC of an HDMI cable. This E-EDID contains information on 3D image data transmission modes supportable by the sink device. Based on information on 3D image data transmission modes from the sink device, the source device selects a predetermined transmission mode from among the 3D image data transmission modes supportable by the sink device. The source device transmits 3D image data in the selected transmission mode to the sink device. The source device transmits information on the transmission mode for the 3D image data, to the sink device by using an AVI InfoFrame packet or the like. The sink device processes the 3D image data received from the source device in accordance with its transmission mode, thereby obtaining left and right eye image data.
