摘要: Versions of a multimedia computer system architecture are described which satisfy quality of service (QoS) guarantees for multimedia applications such as game applications while allowing platform resources, hardware resources in particular, to scale up or down over time. Computing resources of the computer system are partitioned into a platform partition and an application partition, each including its own central processing unit (CPU) and, optionally, graphics processing unit (GPU). To enhance scalability of resources up or down, the platform partition includes one or more hardware resources which are only accessible by the multimedia application via a software interface. Additionally, outside the partitions may be other resources shared by the partitions or which provide general purpose computing resources.

摘要: A debugging architecture includes a set of debug counters for counting one or more events based on a set of signals from a device being monitored. The architecture provides for observing the outputs of the debug counters during operation of the device. The outputs of the counters are provided to an output bus (e.g., a Debug Bus) via an output bus interface during operation of the device being monitored. A data gathering system can access the output bus in order to gather the data from the counters for analysis.

摘要: A container having a dual use as a receptacle for debris that can accommodate a sawhorse application. Square or U-shaped recesses are located in the rim of the container for securing a sawhorse support, such as a board. Sawhorse supports are friction fit, or securely mounted to the container by pin, screw, nail, or bolt attachment. A lid having a slotted structure for receiving a sawhorse support may be used to transform a common household container into a sawhorse.

摘要: A molded attachment clip for securing a member to a body. The clip including a primary support and a pair of retention tabs extending from the primary support. The retention tabs extend away from the primary support member, each retention tab is biased toward a non-deflected position away from the primary support. A recess is formed at a terminal end of each retention tab, each recess defined by a bearing surface and an abutment surface. During insertion of the attachment clip into an aperture of the body, the retention tabs are deflected toward the primary support to a deflected position through contact with a surface defining the aperture. The bearing surface slidingly engages the surface defining the aperture and the abutment surface engages another surface of the body proximate the aperture as the retention tabs are biased to return toward their non-deflected position wherein the member is joined to the body.

摘要: A integrity control system uses the address bits to enable encryption and/or protection of data stored in a system memory. The encryption and protection mechanisms are coupled to the CPU by way of a data bus and to the memory by way of a data bus. An address bus that determines the location of data to be stored or retrieved from system memory has a plurality of address lines. At least one of the address lines enabling the encryption mechanism to encrypt data before storage in the memory and to decrypt data after retrieval from memory. Another address line enables the protection mechanism to generate a hash of the data. The hash is stored and used to determine whether data has been altered while stored in system memory.

摘要: The present invention provides a composition, comprising: greater than about 0.1% by weight hydrogen peroxide; an aromatic acid component; surfactant; optionally, a solvent; and a carrier. The composition of the invention is useful as a disinfecting composition for killing microorganisms such as bacterium (including Mycobacterium), spores and fungi. The composition provides a pathogenic bacteria kill rate of 99.9% in about 30 seconds when bacteria are exposed to the composition and is effective in providing a Mycobacterium kill of 106 with two minutes or less. Moreover, the compositions of the invention are generally more resistant to catalase deactivation than, for example, an aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide. The concentration of hydrogen peroxide within the composition may range from about 1% by weight to about 7% by weight and the concentration of aromatic acid component may range from about 0.1% by weight to about 5% by weight. The invention also provides a method for disinfection of a substrate utilizing the composition. The composition of the invention may be used in the foregoing method on a medical instrument, such as an endoscope or the like. Applying the compositions to a substrate may be accomplished in any of a variety of application methods such as by roll coating, dipping, spraying, or rotational tumbling. The composition may be applied to the substrate for a period of time ranging from about 30 seconds to about ten minutes. In this aspect, the invention can further comprise drying the substrate after removing the composition.
