Abstract: A guide device includes a track member and a moving member engaged with the track member with a plurality of rolling elements interposed therebetween. A lubricating path is formed in the moving member for supplying lubricant to a circulation path for the rolling elements. The lubricating path has a common path including an inlet portion that serves as a supply port for the lubricant, a first path through which grease flows, and a second path through which lubricating oil flows. A cross-sectional area of the second path is smaller than a cross-sectional area of the first path, and in the common path, a second communication portion of the second path is located closer to the inlet portion than a first communication portion of the first path. Further, the guide device includes a plug member for blocking the inlet portion of the common path, the plug member being removable and able to be moved within the common path.

Abstract: A guide apparatus includes a track member, a movable member having a first rolling surface that forms a load rolling passage together with a rolling surface of the track member, and a damper provided on a first surface. The first surface is at least a portion of the surface of the movable member opposed to the track member excluding the first rolling surface. The damper includes a plate member disposed in such a way as to cover the first area and a reservoir space formed between one surface of the plate member and the first area. The reservoir space contains a damping medium and allows the plate member to displace relative to the first area. The damper is provided on the movable member in such a way that the other surface of the plate member slides on at least a portion of the surface of the track member opposed to the movable member.

Abstract: Provided is a rolling guide device which is capable of directly recognizing an operation condition of a moving member with respect to a track member or a circulation state of rolling elements in an endless circulation path, the rolling guide device including: a track member having a rolling surface; and a moving member, which is assembled to the track member through intermediation of a large number of rolling elements which roll on the rolling surface, and has an endless circulation path for the rolling elements, the moving member including: a main body member having a load rolling surface and a no-load return path for the rolling elements, the load rolling surface being opposed to the rolling surface of the track member to define a load path for the rolling elements, a pair of covers, which have direction change paths for allowing the rolling elements to move between the load path and the no-load return path, and is mounted to the main body member; and a measurement plate, which is interposed at least between the main body member and one cover to form part of the endless circulation path, and has a mounting portion for a sensor configured to detect an operation condition of the moving member with respect to the track member.

Abstract: Provided is a diagnosis method of appropriately recognizing a state of a rolling surface of a track member of a rolling guide device or a lubrication state of rolling elements using a sensor mounted to the rolling guide device. The diagnosis method is applied to a rolling guide device including: a track member having a rolling surface extending along a longitudinal direction of the track member; and a moving member, which is assembled to the track member through intermediation of a plurality of rolling elements configured to roll on the rolling surface so that the moving member is movable along the track member, and has an endless circulation path for the rolling elements. The diagnosis method includes: detecting a moving speed of the moving member relative to the track member while detecting relative vibration displacement of the moving member relative to the track member using a vibration sensor mounted to the moving member; and diagnosing a running state of the moving member relative to the track member based on those detection results.
