摘要: Substance productivity is improved by introducing a metabolic pathway for synthesis of acetyl-CoA or acetic acid from glucose-6-phosphate into yeast. Acetic acid productivity, acetyl-CoA productivity, and productivity of a substance made from acetyl-CoA-derived are improved by attenuating genes involved in the glycolytic system of yeast and introducing a phosphoketolase gene into the yeast.

The gene encodes a protein comprising an amino acid sequence comprising a motif sequence shown in SEQ ID NO: 1 and having activity of synthesizing a hydrocarbon with a carbon number one less than that of an aldehyde compound from the aldehyde compound.

摘要: This invention provides a recombinant microorganism into which an acyl-CoA reductase exerting excellent activity in a reduction reaction involving the use of acyl-CoA as a substrate has been introduced. Such recombinant microorganism comprises a nucleic acid encoding a protein (a) or (b) below introduced into a host microorganism: (a) a protein comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 2; or (b) a protein comprising an amino acid sequence having 70% or higher identity to the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 2 and having activity for synthesizing an aldehyde compound from acyl-CoA.
