Abstract: A control device that is mounted in a second vehicle which a first vehicle having a following travel function is detachably connected to or loaded on is provided. The control device includes a control unit configured to perform: detecting another vehicle that is within a predetermined range from the second vehicle in a state in which the second vehicle has the first vehicle connected thereto or loaded thereon and of which some or all of a scheduled travel route is the same as some or all of a scheduled travel route of the first vehicle after the first vehicle has been disconnected from the second vehicle; and transmitting following instruction information to the first vehicle and disconnecting the first vehicle from the second vehicle such that the first vehicle travels with the detected other vehicle as a preceding vehicle by the following travel function.

Abstract: A travel control device controls traveling of a vehicle of which a traveling function can be switched between an autonomous traveling function and a following traveling function. The travel control device includes a control unit configured to detect, when the vehicle is traveling by the autonomous traveling function, another vehicle present within a predetermined range of the vehicle and of which any part or all of a planned travel route is partially or wholly the same as a planned travel route of the vehicle, and switch the traveling function of the vehicle from the autonomous traveling function to the following traveling function such that the vehicle autonomously follows the other vehicle detected as a leading vehicle.

Abstract: A touch panel of an automatic driving vehicle includes a SLOW DOWN button. An operator is able to operate the SLOW DOWN button while the vehicle is running in the automatic driving mode to apply different deceleration controls using a first operation, or a long press, and a second operation, or a short press. For example, when a long press is applied, the automatic driving vehicle completes deceleration at time t4, or a time immediately after time t3 at which the long press operation is completed. In contrast, when a short press is applied, the automatic driving vehicle completes deceleration after the elapse of a relatively long period after completion of the short press.

The present disclosure resides in a vehicle control apparatus for attenuating the vibration of the vehicle by adjusting a parameter that affects a predetermined acceleration so that the predetermined acceleration, which includes at least one of an acceleration in an upward-downward direction of the vehicle, an acceleration in a lateral direction of the vehicle, and an acceleration in a front-back direction of the vehicle, approaches a target acceleration, wherein a required vibration suppression level of the cargo transported by the vehicle is acquired, and the target acceleration is set on the basis of the acquired required vibration suppression level. Then, the control apparatus adjusts the parameter that affects the predetermined acceleration on the basis of the set target acceleration.
