    摘要: There is provided a hydraulic pressure control apparatus for a vehicular hydraulic power transmission device with a lock-up clutch, in which an increase in the temperature of hydraulic oil in an engagement side oil chamber is suppressed, durability of frictional material is improved, and the lock-up clutch is appropriately controlled. A switching control valve (a lock-up relay valve 250 and a lock-up control valve 252) switches between connection and disconnection between each of two oil passages that communicate with an engagement side oil chamber 31, and each of a high pressure oil passage and a low pressure oil passage, according to the operating state of the lock-up clutch 11. For example, when the lock-up clutch is completely engaged, the hydraulic oil is supplied to both the two oil passages from the high pressure oil passage, hydraulic pressure PON in the engagement side oil chamber 31 is increased, and a sufficient transmission torque capacity of the lock-up clutch 11 is obtained. When the lock-up clutch 11 is in the slip state, one of the two oil passages is connected to the high pressure oil passage, and the other oil passage is connected to the low pressure oil passage such that the hydraulic oil is circulated in the engagement side oil chamber 31. Therefore, an increase in the temperature of the hydraulic oil is suppressed, the lock-up clutch 11 is cooled, and the durability of the frictional material 36 is improved.

That portion is a perpendicular groove portion which is parallel to a plane that is perpendicular to the axial center of the insertion hole. Accordingly, when extracting a core for forming the insertion hole and the lubrication groove from a die, projections formed on the core for forming the lubrication groove will not interfere with the die. As a result, it is possible to form the lubrication groove during casting of the differential case using that core.

    摘要: A tandem frictional engagement device includes a first frictional engagement unit and a second frictional engagement unit. The first frictional engagement unit couples a first coupling member to a first coupled member through a procedure wherein a friction disc that is relatively non-rotatably spline-fitted to the first coupling member is pressed by a first piston in a first direction and wherein the friction disc and another friction disc on the side of the first coupled member are clamped between the first piston and a first stopper member. The second frictional engagement unit couples a second coupling member to a second coupled member through a procedure wherein a friction disc that is relatively non-rotatably spline-fitted to the second coupling member is pressed by a second piston in a direction opposite to the first direction and wherein the friction disc and another friction disc on the side of the second coupled member are clamped between the second piston and a second stopper member. The first coupling member and the second coupling member are constructed separately from each other. A leading end of a first fitting portion of the first coupling member to which the friction disc is spline-fitted is so disposed as to abut substantially on a second fitting portion of the second coupling member to which the friction disc is spline-fitted. The leading end of the first coupling member is used as the second stopper member. The invention also provides an automatic transmission that is mounted with the tandem frictional engagement device.
