Abstract: A vehicle hydraulic system includes: (a) a hydraulic pump device to be driven by a vehicle drive source to eject a working fluid through first and second outlet ports; (b) a first line passage that guides the working fluid ejected through the first outlet port, with a hydraulic pressure being regulated to a relatively high value; (c) a downstream-side passage in which the hydraulic pressure is regulated to a relatively low value; (d) a path-switching valve device configured to allow the working fluid ejected through the second outlet port, to flow into the first line passage, when the hydraulic pressure is lower than a predetermined value, and configured to allow the working fluid ejected through the second outlet port, to flow into the downstream-side passage, when the hydraulic pressure is higher than the predetermined value; and (e) a bypass passage provided between the second outlet port and the downstream-side passage.

Abstract: A power transmission device for a vehicle includes a first power transmission path that is provided between an engine and a driving wheel, a second power transmission path that is provided in parallel with the first power transmission path, and an electronic control unit. The electronic control unit changes over a secondary clutch to a one-way mode while releasing a first clutch, when a request is made to change over a power transmission path between the engine and the driving wheel from the first power transmission path to the second power transmission path at a time of a predetermined state. The electronic control unit is configured to engage a second clutch when the secondary clutch is changed over to the one-way mode.

Abstract: Vehicle control system and method provided to change speed ratio smoothly when switching a power transmission route from a route including a geared transmission to a route including a continuously variable transmission. Vehicle control system applied to a vehicle comprising: continuously variable transmission for changing speed ratio continuously is disposed between input shaft and output shaft; geared transmission is disposed parallel to the continuously variable transmission, and is adapted to establish speed ratio that cannot be established by continuously variable transmission; and friction clutch is brought into engagement to switch torque transmission route from a route including the geared transmission to a route including the continuously variable transmission.
