摘要: A method of indicating an oxygen desaturation period has been initiated includes detecting an oxygen mask configured to supply oxygen to a patient to saturate the patient, detecting a removal of the oxygen mask from the patient to stop saturation of the patient, initiating a desaturation timer in response the removal of the oxygen mask from the patient, and operating an image display device to display a first running time on a screen of the image display device indicating a desaturation time elapsed from a time of the removal of the mask.

摘要: An intubation device assembly includes an intubation device, an optical imaging device attached to the intubation device, an image display device attached to the intubation device, a first position sensor operatively connected to the image display device, a second position sensor operatively connected to the intubation device, and a force sensor operatively connected to the intubation device. A controller operates the image display device to display a video image of the optical imaging device and at least one parameter corresponding to an operation of at least one of the optical imaging device, the first position sensor, the second position sensor, and the force sensor. The controller further determines an orientation of a screen of the image display device according to an operation of the first position sensor. The controller displays the least one parameter in a position on the screen according to the orientation of the screen.

摘要: A method of displaying information associated with an application of an intubation device includes detecting an orientation of a screen attached to the intubation device, and setting a template for displaying values of a parameter associated with one of the plurality of sensors in a display window on the screen according to the orientation of the screen. The method includes receiving data from the plurality of sensors, and continuously displaying a video image from an optical imaging device during an intubation of a patient and periodically displaying on a portion of the screen a display window including a value of the parameter according to the data received instead of a part of the video image. Setting the template includes setting a frequency of display, a size, or a color for the parameter.

摘要: A method of approximating a position of an oxygen mask during a procedure includes detecting a presence of the oxygen mask based on a signal from a sensor or through an observation through an optical imaging device; determining whether the oxygen mask is close to or on a patient for supplying oxygen to the patient; detecting a removal of the oxygen mask from the patient to stop supplying oxygen to the patient; initiating a desaturation timer in response to the sensor or the optical imaging device detecting the removal of the oxygen mask from the patient; and operating an image display device to display a parameter for the oxygen desaturation timer.
