摘要: An image display apparatus and a method for operating the same are disclosed. The method for operating an image display apparatus includes receiving a 3-dimensional (3D) image, detecting the depth of the 3D image, performing 3D processing on an audio signal received in synchronization with the 3D image in correspondence with the detected depth, and outputting the audio signal subjected to 3D processing. Thus, it is possible to output the audio signal in correspondence with the depth of the 3D image during 3D image display.

摘要: New intra angular prediction modes and methods for decoding are offered for providing greater accuracy when processing predictions of digital video data blocks. One new method considers predicting a current prediction sample by taking the linear interpolation of two previously reconstructed reference samples that lay along a common angular line. Another new method offers a method for making previously unavailable samples from a neighboring block available as reference samples when predicting a current prediction sample. Another new method considers a new combined intra prediction mode that utilizes a local mean to predict a current prediction sample. And a new decoding method offers to rearrange the order in which video data blocks are predicted based on the intra prediction mode used for predicting the video data blocks.

摘要: New intra planar modes are introduced for predicting digital video data. As part of the new intra planar modes, various methods are offered for predicting a first sample within a prediction unit, where the first sample is needed for referencing to when processing the new intra planar modes. And once the first sample is successfully predicted, the new intra planar modes are able to predict a sample of video data within the prediction unit by processing a bi-linear interpolation of four previously reconstructed reference samples.

摘要: The present invention relates to the encoding and decoding of image information. According to the present invention, the decoding method comprises the steps of: entropy-decoding received information; performing inter prediction on a current block based on the entropy-decoded information; and restoring images by using the prediction results, wherein, in the inter prediction step, a skip mode or merge mode is applied to the current block and movement information of the current block may be determined based on the movement information of a neighboring block of the current block.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for processing a video signal, which can increase the accuracy of the motion vector prediction through motion vector scaling which takes a difference in the temporal distance between reference pictures into consideration. To this end, the present invention provides a video signal processing method and a video signal processing apparatus using the same, and the method comprises the steps of: scaling at least one neighboring partition motion vector for a motion vector prediction of the current partition; scaling the neighboring partition motion vector, which has been selected, when the reference picture of the neighboring partition motion vector is different from the reference picture of the current partition; acquiring a motion vector prediction value of the current partition using the scaled motion vector; and acquiring a motion vector of the current partition using the motion vector prediction value.

摘要: Disclosed are an intra-prediction method using filtering and an apparatus using the method. An image-decoding method comprises: a step of filtering an n upper reference pixel of a block to be predicted and neighboring pixels of the n upper reference pixel so as to obtain the filtered n upper reference pixel; and a step of filtering an n left reference pixel of a block to be predicted and neighboring pixels of the n left reference pixel so as to obtain the filtered n left reference pixel. According to the present invention, intra-prediction may be efficiently performed to improve image-encoding/decoding efficiency.
