    摘要: An in-cylinder pressure detection device for an internal combustion engine, which is capable of calculating a hysteresis amount properly to thereby detect in-cylinder pressure with high accuracy. The in-cylinder pressure detection device comprises an in-cylinder pressure sensor that detects in-cylinder pressure as a detected in-cylinder pressure. The in-cylinder pressure detection device estimates an in-cylinder pressure generated when combustion is not performed in the cylinder, as a motoring pressure, calculates a hysteresis amount indicative of a difference between the detected in-cylinder pressure and an actual in-cylinder pressure, based on the detected in-cylinder pressure and the motoring pressure obtained during the exhaust stroke of the engine, and corrects the detected in-cylinder pressure based on the calculated hysteresis amount.

    摘要: An in-cylinder pressure detection device for an internal combustion engine, which is capable of detecting an in-cylinder pressure accurately without being adversely affected by changes in the atmospheric pressure even when the atmospheric pressure changes. An in-cylinder pressure sensor detects pressure within a cylinder as a detected in-cylinder pressure. An ECU estimates pressure generated in the cylinder during a non-combustion period as a motoring pressure. An atmospheric pressure sensor detects an atmospheric pressure (PA).     摘要: An internal combustion engine includes a main enlarged member extended towards a camshaft for forming reed valve chambers. The main enlarged member is integrally provided on a head cover of the engine at a location at which reed valves for controlling supply of secondary air to an exhaust system are disposed. The main enlarged member is extended towards the camshaft for increasing volume of the reed valve chambers while avoiding the increase in size of the head cover. A recessed portion is provided on a cam cap fastened to a cylinder head of the engine. A portion of the main enlarged member is inserted into the recessed portion such that cam cap cooperates with the cylinder head for rotatably supporting the camshaft.

    摘要: A four-cycle air-oil cooled engine includes a cylinder head having a spark plug mounting hole formed therein, and a ring-like groove formed therein and surrounding the spark plug mounting hole. The cylinder head is formed with first and second co-planar sealing surfaces, disposed on a plane perpendicular to an axis of the spark plug mounting hole, and having an opening end of the ring-like groove disposed therebetween. The ring-like groove defines an oil jacket around the periphery of the spark plug mounting hole. A cover member having a flat surface opposed to the first and second flat sealing surfaces of the cylinder head is secured to the cylinder head such that a single gasket is interposed between the first and second sealing surfaces and the flat surface of the cover member.

    摘要: A float operated switch (21) is actuated when the level of refrigerant fluid in a reservoir (11) is below a predetermined value to produce an electrical signal. The signal is delayed by 10 to 30 seconds and applied to a switch circuit (54) to disengage an electromagnetic clutch (63) and thereby de-energize a compressor (64). The clutch (63) is also disengaged by the action of a thermal switch (61) when the temperature in a space which is being air conditioned drops below a predetermined value. The operation of the float operated switch (21) is inhibited when the sensed temperature is below the predetermined value and also when a motor which drives the compressor (64) is not operating to prevent erroneous de-energization of the compressor (64).
