摘要: A security server monitoring device is provided that performs quick redistribution of loads when a server load increases due to virus infections. A security server performs a virus check on data flowing through a network, thus statistical data relating to detected viruses can be obtained. For example, future communication traffic and increases and decreases in server loads are predicted using statistical information such as the number of virus infections (number of virus infections per unit of time), and on the basis of this prediction, a security server allocated to a path is quickly changed from a security server in which a high load is predicted to a security server with a comparably low load.

摘要: Disclosed is a communication network management system for converting action parameters contained in abstract requirements (abstract policy information) regarding a network to parameters conforming to the network technology (ATM, SDH, WDM, etc.) and type of network element to be set, and setting these parameters in the element. Specifically, a policy administration portion converts action parameters contained in abstract policy information to parameters dependent upon network technology and a policy enforcement portion converts the parameters obtained by this conversion to parameters dependent upon type of network element to be set and sets these parameters in the element.

摘要: A communication path fault restoration system especially applicable to a multiple layered communication network is disclosed, in which spare paths are efficiently used between layers which, at the same time, perform the fault restoration process at high speed. A communication path fault restoration system for a communication network having a multiple layered structure comprises a communication path fault receiver 21 for detecting a faulty path according to the network collection information, a communication path restoration selector 22 for selecting a communication layer and the communication path on the layer for dynamically restoring the fault of the faulty path based on the determination of the information on the faulty path using a predetermined evaluation function, and a communication path restoration processing unit 23 for restoring the fault of the faulty path using the communication path on the selected communication layer.

摘要: A communication network comprised of communication paths of server layers formed hierarchically by communication paths of client layers, wherein the state of control of the communication paths of a layer being controlled is independently managed in terms of both (i) an administrative state and (ii) a subordinate state indicating influence from communication paths of a server layer, the administrative state of the communication paths of the layer being controlled is changed according to the control for setting and releasing the communication paths, and the subordinate state of the communication paths of a client layer influenced by the change of the administrative state of the communication paths is changed accordingly. At this time, when a subordinate state has already been influenced by a state of control of the communication paths of a server layer, the processing for management is terminated.

摘要: Provided is an X-ray generator comprising an X-ray tube including a cylindrical body; an electron source in the body; a target at an end of the X-ray tube facing the electron source, the target generating X-rays by irradiation with electrons; a container in which the X-ray tube is arranged; insulating liquid filled between the X-ray tube and the container; and a holding member holding the body of the X-ray tube in the container, with a channel for the insulating liquid around the X-ray tube. The distance between the holding member and the end face at the end of the body in the direction in which the electron source and the target face is twice or more as large as the minimum width of the channel that is in contact with the outer surface of the X-ray tube at the end face side with respect to the holding member. This allows heat in the target to be quickly radiated, thus allowing X-rays to be generated stably for a long time.

摘要: Provided is an X-ray generator (10) which causes electrons having passed through an electron path (4), formed by an electron path formation member (3) surrounding the periphery of the electron path (4), to be emitted against a target to generate an X-ray, in which: an X-ray generated when the sub X-ray generating portion (5) provided in the electron path (4) is irradiated with the electrons backscatterred off the target is capable of being taken out; a material which constitutes the target and a material which constitutes at least the sub X-ray generating portion (5) of the electron path formation member (3) are the same material of which atomic number is 40 or greater. X-ray generation efficiency can be improved by effectively using the electrons backscatterred off the transmission target.
