摘要: LEDs (7) are arranged on at least opposite two corners of a bottom surface of a box body (11) of a tray shape whose bottom surface is quadrilateral, whose upper side is open, on an inner surface of which a light reflection member (11b) is provided, and whose side walls (11c) are inclined outward, so as to irradiate inside of the box body, wherein a plurality of LEDs (71) are arranged so that a region irradiated by each of the LEDs (71) rotates sequentially in a specific direction (same direction). As a result, there can be obtained a surface light source having high brightness and uniformity in an arbitrary size whether the light source is small or large while using semiconductor light emitting devices (LEDs), and an electrically illuminated signboard using the surface light source, which is thin and capable of uniform display and which operates with low electricity consumption.

摘要: A belt device includes a belt as an endless belt that has a scale with a large number of scale marks formed along the whole circumference of the belt. A sensor reads the scale to obtain scale information. A control device provides control to correct a belt speed, based on scale information read. A scale-mark degradation determining unit determines whether the scale mark is degraded. A belt drive controller continuously provides control to correct the belt speed for a degraded portion until the scale-mark degradation determining unit determines that there is no degradation.

摘要: In an image reading device having a sheet-through mechanism, a controller controls a stepping motor to decelerate an image reading system when the image reading system is moved to a reference white plate reading position, and controls a stepping motor drive electric current to decrease when the image reading system reads a reference white plate. When the image reading system finishes reading the reference white plate, the controller controls the stepping motor drive electric current to increase so as to rapidly decelerate the image reading system. The controller further controls the stepping motor such that a moving speed of the image reading system to an original document reading position is lower than a moving speed of the image reading system to the reference white plate reading position.

摘要: The present invention provides an architectural material obtained by forming a decorative layer containing calcium carbonate as a binder component on the surface of a base material, and laminating a ventilating protective sheet having a peeling strength of 200 to 4000 mN on the surface of the decorative layer without interposing an adhesive layer separately, and a process for producing the architectural material. The architectural material has excellent soiling resistance or abrasion resistance, and is highly practical.

摘要: A device for regenerating a sheet-like recoding medium which feeds a printed sheet-like recording medium. A regenerating treatment unit eliminates a image formed on the recording medium. The recording medium is then discriminated and separated based on whether the regenerated recording medium is reusable or not and whether the regenerated recording medium is to be treated again by the regenerating treatment unit, and a storing unit stores the separated reusable recording medium. Further, a control section controls the regenerating treatment unit to treat the regenerated recording medium again when the regenerated recording medium is judged to be treated again by the regenerating treatment unit.

摘要: An optical system for a color copier in which light images of blue, green and red produced by color separation are formed one on each of three photoconductive elements, then developed by toner of associated colors, and then transferred one upon another onto a paper. A first mirror is disposed in an optical path to which light representative of an image of an original document is led through an image-forming lens and a mirror group. Light reflected by the first mirror is focused onto a first photoconductive element. Light transmitted through the first mirror is split by a second mirror which is located in a position for intercepting a part of the width of a slit for exposure. Light reflected by the second mirror is focused onto a second photoconductive element. Further, light outside the range of the second mirror is reflected by a third mirror to be focused onto a third photoconductive element. The first mirror has a spectral characteristic which reflects light of one of three colors, i.e., blue, green and red while transmitting light of the other two colors. All of the first to third mirrors comprise total reflection mirrors, or only the first mirror comprises a half-mirror. A reflection from the first mirror is of a particular color to which the photoconductive elements show the smallest amount of reaction. Light of wavelengths outside a predetermined range of each color which is to be reflected by any of the mirrors is cut by using the reflection characteristic of the mirror (as well as a transmission characteristic in the case of the half-mirror) and the transmission characteristics of a filter which is associated with the mirror.
