    摘要: An active matrix liquid crystal display element capable of reducing flicker comprises: a plurality of source lines; a plurality of gate lines arranged so as to intersect the plurality of source lines in a plan view, for transmitting a gate signal; a plurality of pixels defined by the plurality of source lines and the plurality of gate lines, constituting an image display plane; a pixel electrode provided for every pixel; an opposed electrode facing the pixel electrode across a liquid crystal layer; a storage capacitor for holding a voltage applied between its corresponding pixel electrode and the opposed electrode; and a pixel transistor having a source electrode, a drain electrode and a gate electrode which are connected to a corresponding one of the source lines, a corresponding one of the pixel electrodes and a corresponding one of the gate lines respectively, and being turned ON or OFF by the gate signal, wherein an index B given by B=Lst/Lgd is equal to or greater than 7, where a periphery length of the storage capacitor is Lst and a periphery length of a gate electrode to pixel electrode capacitor of the pixel transistor is Lgd.

    摘要: The present invention provides a display apparatus that can reduce a voltage irregularity and a brightness irregularity accompanied by making an enlarged and a high resolution type display apparatus. The display apparatus comprises plural pixel electrodes 5 arranged in a matrix, a switching element 3 connected with the pixel electrode, a scanning electrode 1, a picture signal electrode 2, an opposite electrode forming a capacitance with the pixel electrode 5, and further comprising; a storage capacitance 7 between the pixel electrode 5 and the scanning electrode 5 other than the scanning electrode 1 of the present line; more than two capacitance elements connected with the pixel electrode 5, including at least one of a gate-drain inter-electrode capacitance 4 of the switching element 3 and the storage capacitance 7, having a different value according to the distance from the power feeding edge of the scanning electrode 1; wherein, each capacitance in each pixel is set so that, when all capacitance connected with the pixel electrode 5 in a pixel is denoted as Ctot, a first capacitance ratio α gd=Cgd/Ctot increases continuously or in stages according to the distance from the power feeding edge of the scanning electrode 1, or a second capacitance ratio α st=Cst/Ctot is substantially constant.

The display apparatus includes a plurality of pixel electrodes arranged in a matrix, switching elements (TFTs) connected thereto, scanning electrodes, video signal electrodes, common electrodes, and a counter electrode, wherein liquid crystal, for example, is interposed between the pixel electrodes and the counter electrode.     摘要: A liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal display panel having a display section which is composed of a plurality of display pixels, a driving unit which drives the display pixels, and a control unit which controls the driving unit. A first substrate includes pixel electrodes which are disposed in association with the plurality of display pixels. A second substrate includes a counter-electrode which is opposed to the plurality of pixel electrodes. A pair of alignment films are disposed on the plurality of pixel electrodes and the counter-electrode, and control an alignment state of liquid crystal molecules, which are included in the liquid crystal layer, by rubbing treatment. Dummy display pixels are disposed on a terminal end side of the display section in a rubbing direction. A driving unit includes circuit for cyclically applying a reverse transition prevention signal to the dummy display pixels.
