摘要: After a vehicle-mounted unit determines that a vehicle has entered a toll chargeable area, if communication is determined to be allowable through a flag, communication operations are performed and after finishing communication operations, the flag is set and communication operations thereafter are prohibited. Next, the unit determines if a travel distance has exceeded a toll chargeable distance. The travel distance is measured by counting the number of vehicular speed pulses received after the end of the communication operations, and the toll chargeable distance is set to be equal or greater than the travel distance needed by the vehicle to enter the communication area and leave it. If it is determined that travel distance has exceeded toll chargeable distance, the flag is reset, communication prohibition is released and communication thereafter is allowed.

摘要: A method and device achieves identification on whether a colony on a cultivation container is differentiated or undifferentiated on an occasion of cultivation of multipotent stem cell, and a method and device achieves a rapid culture of undifferentiated multipotent stem cells. Undifferentiated colony containing only undifferentiated multipotent stem cells is identified from other types of colonies by means of the circularity C of the colony in an image-processed taken image of the inside of cultivation container of a multipotent stem cell. More specifically, when a first threshold of the circularity of the colony is C1, and a second predetermined threshold is C2 (C1

摘要: There are provided a ceramic electronic component and a method for producing the ceramic electronic component, where a ground electrode layer can be directly coated with lead-free solder without lowering reliabilities. Terminal electrode 3 is provided with a ground electrode layer 21 of Cu having been formed by firing, a solder layer 22 formed of a lead-free solder based on five elements of Sn—Ag—Cu—Ni—Ge, and a diffusion layer 23 having been formed by the diffusion of Ni between the ground electrode layer 21 and the solder layer 22. Because the diffusion layer 23 of Ni is formed between the ground electrode layer 21 and the solder layer 22, the diffusion layer 23, which functions as a barrier layer, suppresses the solder leach of Cu from the ground electrode layer 21. The diffusion layer 23 of Ni can also suppress the growth of fragile intermetallic compounds of Sn—Cu. Therefore, a decrease in the bonding strength between the ground electrode layer 21 and the solder layer 22 can be prevented.

摘要: In a refrigerating apparatus using an HFC group refrigerant, the performance is improved by increasing the refrigerating capacity and a stable operation is made possible. In order to achieve this, a cycle system in a refrigerator is structured so as to connect a compressor, a condenser, a liquid receiver and a supercooler in this order. In an air-cooled separation type refrigerator, the liquid receiver is disposed within an air-cooled type condenser unit. Further, in the case where a flush gas is liable to be generated in a liquid pipe, a vapor-liquid separator is disposed within the compressor unit integral with an accumulator and separated therefrom by a partition plate.

摘要: A vehicle-mounted device that enables adjustment by wireless communication from an external portion, of a threshold value employed for detecting strength of a radio wave emitted from a roadside device. A vehicle-mounted device is disposed within an electromagnetic-shield box, and radio waves for activating use are sent from an antenna within the electromagnetic-shield box to the vehicle-mounted device. The vehicle-mounted device, when activated by this radio wave for activating use, sends an activation acknowledgement signal. A computer determines whether the vehicle-mounted device has been activated according to the presence or absence of the activation acknowledgement signal. The computer sends a radio wave from the antenna to the vehicle-mounted device to set a threshold value in correspondence to the presence or absence of this activation, and sets the threshold value of the vehicle-mounted device. These operations are performed repeatedly to adjust the threshold value of the vehicle-mounted device to an appropriate value.
