摘要: A method of connecting superconducting wires have the steps of preparing a connecting superconducting wire piece, exposing the filaments of the superconducting layers to be connected and the filaments of the connecting superconducting wire piece by partially dissolving and removing the coating layers, inserting the filaments of the superconducting wires to be connected into the filaments of the connecting superconducting wire piece such that the filaments of the connecting superconducting wire piece cross and envelope the filaments of the superconducting wires to be connected, fitting a metallic connecting pipe on the region where the filaments cross each other, and crimping the metallic connecting pipe onto the crossing filaments thereby tightly fixing and connecting the exposed filaments to each other.

摘要: A nozzle structure of electroslag welding machines for use in welding planks having heavier thicknesses compared to previously electroslag welded planks, and having as much as 800 mm thicknesses, in which the nozzle structure is formed of a plurality of bent pipes rigidly connected with each other to form a fan-shaped nozzle structure. A plurality of wires are continuously fed through each of the bent pipes into a weld gap formed by faces of planks to be welded.

摘要: Disclosed is a system for automatically successively inserting a plurality of U-shaped heat transfer tubes into holes of support members of an equipment such as a heat exchanger. The system has fixing means for removably fixing the support members such that the corresponding holes of the support members are axially aligned; gripping means adapted to pick up one of the heat transfer tubes and movable to bring the heat transfer tube toward the holes of supporting members; a positioning means disposed between the gripping means and the fixing means and adapted to hold the gripped heat transfer tube horizontally and to make the same align with the holes in the support members; and control means operatively connected to the gripping means and the positioning means so as to sequentially control the operation of both means in a predetermined sequence. The system operates as follows under the control of the control means. The gripping means grips the heat transfer tube and raises the same. The gripping means is then moved toward the support members while the positioning means supports the heat transfer tube. As the heat transfer tube is inserted deeper into the support members, the support of the tube by the positioning means is released. The gripping of the tube by the gripping means is released and the gripping means is then returned to the position for picking up the next tube, after the completion of the insertion of the heat transfer tube.

摘要: A metallic material containing both a second constituent and a third constituent having positive and negative heats of mixing relative to a first constituent, respectively, and including a compound, an alloy or a nonequilibrium alloy having a melting point that is higher than the solidifying point of a metal bath made of the first constituent is placed in the metal bath. The metal bath is controlled to a temperature lower than a minimum value of a liquidus temperature within a range of compositional variations in which the amount of the third constituent in the metallic material decreases down to a point where the metallic material becomes substantially the second constituent so that the third constituent is selectively dissolved into the metal bath.

摘要: There is provided a color conversion method. The method includes: a black correction step of converting the first black corresponding to the first color data having a tone value of 0 to the second black corresponding to the second color data having a tone value of 0 so that when the first black corresponding to the first color data having a tone value other than 0 is converted to a value smaller than a quantization threshold of tone values 0 and 1 of the second color data, a conversion destination becomes greater than or equal to the quantization threshold; a recording agent limit quantity calculating step of setting an upper limit of the sum of tone values for each pixel of the second color data with respect to a predetermined print medium; and a chromatic color correcting step of converting the second chromatic color so that the second color data after conversion in the black correction step does not exceed the upper limit.
