An image processing apparatus includes an input unit which receives, from an image capturing apparatus, moving image data in which the shadow of a foreign substance adhered to the surface of an optical member is captured, an obtaining unit which obtains, from the moving image data, foreign substance information including information of the position and size of the foreign substance captured in the moving image data, a playback unit which can play back the moving image data while correcting the shadow of the foreign substance in the moving image data by using the foreign substance information, a display unit which displays an image played back by the playback unit, and a setting unit which sets, in accordance with the playback status of the moving image data, whether to perform processing of correcting the shadow of the foreign substance in each frame of the moving image data.

The present invention relates to a pyrimidine derivative of the formula (I) and salts thereof which is useful as an active ingredient of pharmaceutical preparations. The pyrimidine derivative of the present invention has excellent CRTH2 (G-protein-coupled chemoattractant receptor, expressed on Th2 cells) antagonistic activity and can be used for the prophylaxis and treatment of diseases associated with CRTH2 activity, in particular for the treatment of allergic diseases, such as asthma, allergic rhinitis, atopic dermatitis, and allergic conjunctivitis; eosinophil-related diseases, such as Churg-Strauss syndrome and sinusitis; basophil-related diseases, such as basophilic leukemia, chronic urticaria and basophilic leukocytosis in human and other mammals; and inflammatory diseases characterized by T lymphocytes and profuse leukocyte infiltrates such as psoriasis, eczema, inflammatory bowel disease, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder) and arthritis.

The image sensing/playback apparatus has an image sensing device that senses an image of an object and obtains electrical image data, an input/output I/F that inputs/outputs image data from/to an external storage medium, and a system controller that sequentially performs a plurality of tasks, exclusively controlling the input/output I/F and having respective priorities decided in advance, while giving an opportunity to switch between the plurality of tasks after processing of one unit data amount of data. The one unit data amount is one of the first unit data amount that is large and the second unit data amount that is smaller than the first unit data amount. If an instruction is given to perform the second task of the plurality of tasks while the first task, different from the second task, is performed to process the first unit data amount at a time, the system controller sets the unit data amount of one with a higher priority of the first and second tasks to the first unit data amount and the unit data amount of the other task with a lower priority to the second unit data amount to perform the tasks.

An image processing apparatus that records image data on a detachable storage medium in a previously set recording format is provided. The apparatus sets the recording format of image data, and determines whether or not a storage medium attached to an attachment unit has a communication function that communicates with a different apparatus than the image processing apparatus. If it is determined that the storage medium has a communication function, and that the recording format of image data that can be transferred by the communication function does not match the recording format that has been set, the apparatus issues a warning.
