    摘要: A constant residual pressure valve is provided with a valve body, a valve seat, a communication passage, and an orifice upstream of the valve seat. A cylindrical passage is arranged between the orifice and the valve seat in such a manner as to introduce cavitation bubbles toward the valve seat. The cavitation bubbles are generated in the fuel discharged from the orifice. When the cavitation babbles are collapsed, the foreign matters accumulated on the third valve seat 63 and the valve body 69 are removed.

    摘要: In a housing, a damper member is placed in a fluid chamber communicated with a pressurizing chamber, at which a plunger is reciprocated to pressurize fuel, and an opening of the fluid chamber is covered with a cover member. The damper member includes first and second-side diaphragms. A first-side support member is located between the damper member and the cover member and is engaged with a first-side outer peripheral portion of the first-side diaphragm and the cover member. A second-side support member is located between the damper member and the housing and is engaged with a second-side outer peripheral portion of the second-side diaphragm and the housing. The first and second-side support members are urged between the housing and the cover member.

    摘要: A constant-residual-pressure valve is disposed in a communication passage connecting a high-pressure fuel passage through which pressurized fuel flows with a low-pressure fuel passage through which the fuel flows toward a high-pressure pump. The constant-residual-pressure valve includes a valve body, a spring, and a spring stopper. The valve body can sit on a valve seat formed in an inner passage. The spring biases the valve body toward the valve seat. The spring stopper has a downstream-orifice of which flow passage area is smaller than that of a passage upstream of the valve seat. Thereby, cavitation between the valve body and the valve seat is less generated.

The pump body defines a pressurization chamber, a low-pressure fuel passage hydraulically connecting a fuel inlet and the pressurization chamber, and a discharge passage. The pump body further defines a cylindrical space around the cylinder. The fuel flows into the cylindrical space from the low-pressure fuel passage so as to cool the cylinder. The entire outer surface of the cylinder can be surely cooled.
