摘要： Expression plasmids containing the full cDNA sequence of calf prochymosin and capable of expressing prochymosin gene in E. coli host cells are disclosed. A method is described for the preparation of said plasmids which comprises altering the spacing between the SD and ATG sequences within the E. coli trp promoter-operator region of the parent expression plasmid, pCR 701, which is known to express prochymosin gene in the E. coli host cells. These modified expression plasmids are designed to provide high expression levels of prochymosin.

摘要： A DNA coding for a fusion protein comprising a polypeptide having the antigenicity of Mycoplasma gallisepticum and a polypeptide derived from Herpesvirus outer membrane protein, in which the polypeptide derived from the outer membrane protein has been ligated with the polypeptide having the antigenicity of Mycoplasma gallisepticum at the N terminus thereof, is prepared. The DNA is inserted into a region non-essential to growth of Avipox virus and the resulting recombinant Avipox virus is provided as a more potent recombinant virus as an anti-Mycoplasma vaccine.

摘要： A recombinant fowlpox virus is disclosed which is useful as a vaccine for protection against Marek's Disease. The recombinant virus preferably contains a gene for one or more Marek's Disease Virus antigens such as glycoprotein B homologue, glycoprotein C homologue, glycoprotein D homologue, glycoprotein H homologue and tegument proteins, under the control of a poxvirus promoter within a region of the DNA of fowlpox virus which is not essential for virus growth.

摘要： The present invention provides methods for producing an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and a saponified product thereof, in which defective appearances at the time of molding (e.g. fish eye or coloring) can be inhibited while using a recovered solvent. In the present invention, a recovered alcohol-based solvent is supplied for reuse after decreasing the concentration of an aldehyde compound contained in the solvent. The concentration of an aldehyde compound can be decreased by acetalizing it with an acid such as a cation exchange resin. For example, the concentration of an aldehyde compound in the solvent is not more than 100 ppm, and the concentration of an acetal compound in the solvent is at least 0.1 ppm but not more than 10,000 ppm.

摘要： Antigen proteins of Mycoplasma gallisepticum, genes encoding the antigen protein, recombinant vectors integrated with the gene and hosts transformed with the vector are provided. Diagnostics and vaccine using the antigen protein produced by such hosts are effective for poultry, especially chicken infected with Mycoplasma gallisepticum. Vaccination can maintain poultry free of Mycoplasma gallisepticum infection.

摘要： A nucleotide sequence encoding the gp82 polypeptide of Marek's disease virus is disclosed. Also disclosed are recombinant viruses which are useful as vaccines for protecting against Marek's Disease, preferably containing two or more genes encoding Marek's Disease Virus antigens such as glycoprotein B and glycoprotein gp82, under the control of a poxvirus promoter within a region of the DNA of fowlpox virus which is not essential for virus growth. Also provided is a vaccine exhibiting a synergistic immunoprotective effect, comprising a recombinant fowlpox virus expressing Marek's Disease Virus gB protein in combination with turkey herpesvirus. A method of immunizing poultry, comprising administering any of the disclosed vaccines, is also provided.
