    摘要: A biaxially stretched polypropylene film includes protrusions on both surfaces, in which the biaxially stretched polypropylene film has a thickness t1 of 1 μm to 3 μm, has a tensile strength in the machine direction of 120 MPa to 250 MPa, has a tensile strength in the transverse direction of 250 MPa to 400 MPa, has a minimum protrusion height Pmin of 100 nm or greater and a maximum protrusion height Pmax of 1,600 nm or smaller for either surface, and satisfies all of Formulae (1) to (3) when one of the surfaces is surface A and the other is surface B: 0.5 Pa250-450/Pa≦1.0 (1), 0.5≦Pb450-1600/Pb≦1.0 (2), and 600≦Pa+Pb≦1,200 (3).

    摘要: The present invention is directed to an encapsulated toner for heat-and-pressure fixing whose shell contains a copolymer having one or more acid anhydride groups as the main component. The encapsulated toner of the present invention has excellent offset resistance and fixing ability even at a low fixing temperature, and also it is excellent in blocking resistance. Further, since the resin having a negative charge is used as a shell material, clear images free from background contamination can be stably formed for a large number of copying.

    摘要: A method for producing an encapsulated toner for heat-and-pressure fixing, which has a heat-fusible core material containing at least a thermoplastic resin and a coloring agent and a shell formed thereon so as to cover the surface of the core material, having the steps of coating the surface of the core material with a hydrophilic shell-forming material to form precursor particles; adding at least a vinyl polymerizable monomer and an initiator for vinyl polymerization to an aqueous suspension of the precursor particles to absorb them into the precursor particles; and then polymerizing the monomer components in the precursor particles. The method of the present invention offers toners which not only have improved storage stability but also are excellent in offset resistance, fixable at a low temperature and are further capable of forming clear images free from background.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to an encapsulated toner for heat-and-pressure fixing having a heat-fusible core material containing at least a thermoplastic resin and a coloring agent and a shell formed thereon so as to cover the surface of the core material. An amorphous polyester is used as the main component of the shell, and the amount of the amorphous polyester is normally 3 to 50 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the core material. The encapsulated toner of the present invention is excellent in offset resistance, fixable even at a low temperature and excellent in blocking resistance when it is used for heat-and-pressure fixing using a heat roller.

    摘要: The encapsulated toner for heat-and-pressure fixing including a heat-fusible core material containing at least a thermoplastic resin and a coloring agent and a shell comprising a hydrophilic resin formed thereon so as to cover the surface of the core material, wherein the core material contains a silicone oil having a kinematic viscosity of from 10 to 500 cSt at 25.degree. C., and wherein the encapsulated toner is obtainable by in situ polymerization method. Such an encapsulated toner can be produced by in situ polymerization method including the following steps (a)-(c): (a) dissolving an amorphous polyester in a mixture comprising a core material-constituting monomer, a polymerization initiator, a silicone oil, and a coloring agent; (b) dispersing the mixture obtained in step (a) in an aqueous dispersant, and localizing the amorphous polyester on the surface of droplets of a core-constituting material to give a polymerizable composition; and (c) polymerizing the polymerizable composition obtained in step (b) by in situ polymerization method to form a core material, wherein the core material is covered with a shell comprising the amorphous polyester, thereby giving an encapsulated toner.
