    摘要: A stereoscopic image generating device includes: a correction parameter calculating unit that calculates correction parameters based on a plurality of pairs of feature points corresponding to the same points on the object, from the first image and a second image photographing the object; a correction error calculating unit that, for each pair of feature points, corrects the position of the feature point on at least one image, using the correction parameters, and calculates the amount of correction error; a maldistribution degree calculating unit that finds the degree of maldistribution of feature points; a threshold value determining unit that determines a threshold value such that the threshold value is smaller when the degree of maldistribution increases; and a correction unit that, when the amount of correction error is equal to or lower than the threshold value, corrects the position of the object in the images using the correction parameters.

    摘要: A first feature value calculator calculates a feature value of an entire screen, and a second feature value calculator calculates a feature value of only an image area designated by designation data stored in a designation data storage. An interpolation determiner outputs a control signal indicative of interpolation-ON if the two feature values are matched or outputs a control signal indicative of interpolation-OFF if not. A center area interpolator uses a motion vector output from a motion estimator to generate an interpolated image within an image area. Side area interpolator performs process of interpolating a side area of the screen on interpolation-ON and stops the process of interpolating a side area of the screen on interpolation-OFF. Therefore, on interpolation-ON, an interpolated frame interpolating the entire screen is output. On interpolation-OFF, an interpolated frame interpolating only the designated image area is output.

    摘要: In a video signal processing device that generates an interpolated frame between original-image frames formed by an existing video signal, a frame interpolation unit generates pixel interpolation information indicating for each pixel a process in which a pixel forming the interpolated frame is generated. Next, an enhancement-filter-coefficient adjusting unit determines for each pixel a level of enhancement to be applied to the pixel forming the interpolated frame by using pixel interpolation information, and adjusts for each pixel a coefficient of an enhancement filter according to a determined level. An enhancement-filter applying unit then applies the enhancement filter of which coefficient is adjusted for each pixel, to each pixel forming the interpolated frame.

    摘要: In a scan conversion apparatus, a first interpolation pixel generation unit generates an interpolation pixel of a nonexistent line for one of images of two fields based on a motion vector detected between the images of the same parity. A second interpolation pixel generation unit generates an intra-field interpolation pixel of a nonexistent line by using a pixel for the image of the field for which the interpolation pixel has been generated by the first interpolation pixel generation unit, among the images of the two fields. An erroneous-interpolation detection unit detects an erroneous interpolation for the interpolation pixel generated by the first interpolation pixel generation unit by comparing with pixels existing in the upper and lower lines. A signal blending output unit outputs a video signal using interpolation pixels generated by the first and second interpolation pixel generation units based on the detection by the erroneous-interpolation detection unit.

The extracting unit extracts a display time-period from at least one of the video signals from among the video signals. The creating unit creates, for a display time-period, a stereoscopic video signal by using the video signals of the images imaged at the positions that are different by parallax. Furthermore, the creating unit creates, for a time other than the display time-period, a stereoscopic video signal having a certain depth by using one of the video signals from among the video signals of the images imaged at the positions that are different by parallax.
