摘要: A method of manufacturing a polyolefin solution continuously and in a stable manner with a high yield which comprises heading a polyolefin resin with a liquid composed of a solvent for the polyolefin resin, and is characterized in that; (1) a continuous kneader having a self-cleaning action is used, and (2) a starving state is maintained in the internal sections of the header at a polyolefin resin feed section, a liquid feed section, and the section in which the kneading of the polyolefin resin and the liquid is initially carried out.

摘要: In a method for manufacturing a polyolefin microporous film, non-uniformity in a film resulting from non-uniform drying during solvent extraction is minimized, high-speed drying and high-speed continuous productivity of the polyolefin microporous film are implemented. In the method for manufacturing a polyolefin microporous film, in which a composition composed of a polyolefin resin and a plasticizer is made into a film form using extrusion, the plasticize is extracted and removed using a solvent, and the film is thereafter dried. After the foregoing extraction and before the drying, the film is brought into close contact with a roll, or its width is mechanically restrained. A liquid (heating medium) having a temperature greater than r equal to the boiling point of the solvent is made to contact the film while the film is in close contact with the roll or while the width is restrained, whereby the film is heated and dried.

摘要: The invention relates to a twin screw extruder for preparing a polymeric solution. The extruder includes an elongated housing having an inlet end, an outlet end, an extruder shaft length L and a pair of interconnecting bores disposed within the housing, a pair of elongated extruder shafts, each having an axis of rotation, the pair of elongated extruder shafts disposed within the pair of interconnecting bores and drivable in at least one direction of rotation, a plurality of extruder screw segments positioned along the pair of elongated extruder shafts in a fixed angular relationship therewith, the plurality of extruder screw segments selected to form multiple extruder stages. The invention also relates to a process for extruding a mixture of polymer and diluent.
