    摘要： Process for preparing aryl hydroxyethyl sulfones of the general formula (1)Ar--SO.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --OH (1)in which Ar denotes a phenyl or naphthyl radical, by reacting an aromatic of the formula (2)Ar--H (2)in which Ar has the abovementioned meanings, with carbyl sulfate at temperatures of 30.degree. to 100.degree. C., in the presence or absence of an organic solvent which is inert toward the reactants, then adding water or methanol to decompose the boron trichloride, and isolating the resulting aryl hydroxyethyl sulfone.

    摘要： A process for the preparation of aromatic dialkylamines of the formula (1) ##STR1## in which R denotes an alkyl-C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 group, X and Y each denote a hydrogen, fluorine or chlorine atom or a hydroxyl, alkyl-C.sub.1 -C.sub.4, alkoxy-C.sub.1 -C.sub.4, carboxyl, carbalkoxy-C.sub.1 -C.sub.5, alkyl-C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 --CO--NH--, ##STR2## sulfonic acid, alkyl-C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 sulfonate, sulfamoyl, alkyl-C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -sulfonyl, hydroxy-alkylene-C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -sulfonyl, phenylsulfonyl, hydroxyphenylsulfonyl, alkyl-C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -phenylsulfonyl or alkoxy-C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -phenylsulfonyl group, wherein compounds of the formula (2) ##STR3## in which R.sub.1 denotes a nitro or primary amino group, and X and Y have the mentioned meanings, are reductively dialkylated using at least equimolar amounts of an aldehyde of the formula (3) ##STR4## in which R has the abovementioned meaning, in alcohols, alkylbenzenes, glycol ethers, fatty acid dialkylamides or fatty acid alkyl esters or fatty acid glycol esters, and using catalytically activated hydrogen in the presence of a precious metal catalyst of group 8 of the periodic table, if appropriate in the presence of catalytic amounts of a trialkyl-C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -amine, at 50.degree. C. to 150.degree. C. at a pressure of 20 bar to 100 bar.

    摘要： The invention relates to an infiflely variable toroidal drive comprising a housing 1, an input shaft 3, a torque shaft 34, two input discs 5, 15 with toroidal inner surfaces and two output discs 6, 16 with toroidal inner surfaces. One input disc and one output disc each form a pair and the two output discs are arranged next to each other and in mirror symmetry. The toroidal drive also comprises several friction wheels for transmitting a torque from the input disc to the corresponding output disc, an output shaft 10 and a gear wheel system 8, 9 between the output discs and the output shaft. A holding frame 2 is removably fastened to the drive housing 1,which frame consists of an upper frame clamp 28, a lower frame clamp 29 and a cup-shaped bearing support member 7. The lowerframe clamp 29 has a recess 45 and one end of the output shaft 10 is mounted via a bearing 32 in a rotating manner.
