摘要： An anesthesia device has a device (4, 5) for the supply of at least one first anesthetic and a second anesthetic in a quantitatively settable, controlled manner. A data processing unit (6) with a corresponding display (8) is set up for determining the current concentrations in the plasma or at the site of action from continuously supplied data on the quantities of the anesthetics administered with a module (10) for a pharmacokinetic compartment model calculation and for storing these concentration values. Concentration data is predicted for at least one point in time in the future and this is also calculated. An action module (20) keeps ready the curve of at least one anesthesia action parameter as a function of the concentrations of the anesthetics in a stored manner. A display module (30) displays on the display (8) at least one action diagram, in which the concentration of the first or second anesthetic as well as the sequence of the concentration data of the anesthesia curve obtained up to that point in time are displayed and the predicted concentration data are displayed with a separate symbol. In case of comparison with concentration set points, it is also possible to act automatically on the feed of the anesthetics in a controlled manner with the predicted concentrations.

摘要： Apparatus for changing the direction of transport of cigarettes and analogous rod-shaped articles of the tobacco processing industry has a horizontal guide rail which guides parallel first and second moving files of coaxial articles into the range of a first conveyor having a series of arms which orbit about a fixed axis and simultaneously rotate about discrete axes. Each arm has first and second flute-like conveying elements each serving to remove a discrete article from the respective file and to hold the received article against a change of orientation during orbital movement toward a transfer station where the articles are transferred from the first and second conveying elements of successive arms into the peripheral flutes of first and second rotary drum-shaped conveyors serve to transport two rows of articles at right angles to the axes of the articles. The rotary conveyors deliver articles into the flutes of an additional rotary drum-shaped conveyor which transports two rows of parallel articles sideways into or in a filter tipping or other processing machine. The conveying elements of the arms transport pairs of articles which are staggered axially relative to each other, and the first and second rotary conveyors are driven to rotate about parallel axes located in a plane in which the peripheral flutes receive articles from the conveying elements.

摘要： A continuous rod with a composite filler having a core constituting a small-diameter cigarette rod and a tube surrounding the core and being confined within a converted web of cigarette paper has axially spaced-apart densified sections in the core as well as in the tube. When the continuous rod is converted into a series of discrete cigarettes, it is severed simultaneously across the densified sections of the core as well as across the densified sections of the tube. If the densified sections of the core are not confined within the densified sections of the tube, a trimming device of the maker of the core is adjusted to shift the locations of the thereafter formed densified sections of the core until such densified sections register with those of the tube.

摘要： Apparatus for transferring cigarettes from a first station where the cigarettes arrive by moving axially to a second station which the cigarettes leave by moving sideways has a rotary carrier for several hollow crank arms which are rotatably mounted in the carrier and whose free ends are provided with rotary receiving devices for retention and transport of cigarettes from the first to the second station while the carrier rotates in response to rotation of an eccentric holder which is driven by the prime mover of the cigarette making machine. The holder transmits motion to discrete crank units which cooperate with universal joints and cardanic shafts to prevent changes in orientation of receiving devices during orbital movement of receiving devices about the axis of the carrier. The crank arms can turn back and forth in response to rotation of the carrier with reference to a stationary cam which is tracked by levers, one for each crank arm and each transmitting motion to the corresponding crank arm by way of a discrete gear train.

摘要： A distributor wherein a belt conveyor transfers batches of tobacco particles from a main magazine into a wide upright duct. The level of different portions of the upper surface of the supply of tobacco in the duct is monitored by several photosensitive detectors which transmit signals for adjustment of a paddle wheel which removes surplus tobacco from the transfer conveyor by brushing off more or less tobacco from different portions of the conveyor, as considered transversely of the direction of movement of the conveyor, in order to maintain the entire upper surface of the tobacco supply in or close to a horizontal plane.
