摘要: In a power supply unit disposed below a floor behind a seat, battery modules are disposed in a lower position, and a DC/DC converter and a motor driving inverter are disposed side by side in a vehicle width direction above the battery modules. Thus, cooling air flowing from the front side to the rear side of a vehicle body is divided into upper and lower portions to cool in parallel the DC/DC converter and the motor driving inverter on the upper side and the battery modules on the lower side. Thus, it is possible to simplify a passage of the cooling air to reduce the size of the entire power supply unit, and improve mountability of the power supply unit on the vehicle body. Also, it is possible to apply low temperature cooling air, before heat exchange, to the battery module, the DC/DC converter, and the motor driving inverter.

摘要: A cooling apparatus for a vehicle electrical packaging unit that includes an inverter for a vehicle drive motor, a DC-DC converter for a vehicle control power source, and an electrical power converter for driving the electrical accessories, and cools them by heat exchange with cooling air. The cooling apparatus includes a first heat radiating plate for the inverter, a second heat radiating plate for the DC-DC converter, a third heat radiating plate for the electrical power converter, and connecting members that respectively connect the first heat radiating plate to the second heat radiating plate and the first heat radiating plate to the third heat radiating plate. Heat radiating fins of the first to third heat radiating plates are enclosed by the first heat radiating plate, second heat radiating plate, the third heat radiating plate, and the connecting members to form an air passage through which the cooling air passes.

摘要: A vehicle drive unit includes a motor as a power source, a power control unit supported by a vehicle body, and a three-phase cable that connects the power control unit and the motor. A first end portion of the three-phase cable is connected to the power control unit toward the rear of the vehicle in a direction orthogonal to a rotary axis of the motor, a second end portion of the three-phase cable is connected to the motor toward the front of the vehicle in the orthogonal direction, and a U-shaped swing absorber that is curved to extend in the orthogonal direction is provided between the first end portion and the second end portion of the three-phase cable.

摘要: A vehicle front body structure includes a pair of front side frames each of which has, at a rear portion thereof, an easily deformable portion that is easily deformable during a collision, a support frame for mounting a unit box thereon, which has a pair of rear legs that are fixed to the easily deformable portions of the pair of front side frames, and a pair of front legs that are fixed to portions of the pair of front side frames, the portions being located in the front as viewed from the easily deformable portions. Displacement allowing spaces for allowing displacement of the unit box during a collision are provided near side portions of the unit box adjacent to the rear legs.

摘要: A heat sink-type cooling device is provided which can enhance the amount of heat dissipated without increasing the size of the fins, and which is miniaturized and has high cooling capacity. A heat sink-type cooling device comprises a heat sink that is provided with a passage through which coolant flows, and that removes heat from electronic devices contacting with the upper surface of the heat sink. Fin groups are provided in the passage, each of which is comprised of a plurality of fins that are disposed in parallel with the direction of the coolant flow and are aligned in the thickness direction thereof. Fins of a fin group and other fins of another fin group adjoining the fin group in the direction of the flow are placed at a distance in the thickness direction of the fins.
