摘要： An optical waveguide component includes an optical waveguide chip formed with an optical waveguide, first and second connecting end members mounted on opposite end portions of the waveguide chip, housings for protecting the waveguide chip, and first and second receptacles mounted to end faces of the housings. When optical connector plugs are inserted into connector-plug accommodation holes of the first and second receptacles, the connector plugs are adequately positioned in the connector-plug accommodation holes by means of a guiding function of these holes, so that guide pins projecting from tip end faces of the connecting end members are fitted into guide-pin accommodation holes formed in the connector plugs, whereby optical fibers held by the connector plugs and the waveguide of the waveguide component are connected accurately and easily.

A presser member is disposed to press at least one of the optical waveguide chip and the optical fiber in the direction of the connection. An optical waveguide exposed from the end of the optical waveguide chip is in direct contact with the core of the optical fiber exposed from an end of the array member.

摘要： The invention relates to a small-sized multiple-core optical connector having high reliability, which can be easily assembled and manufactured. A plurality of array guide grooves (22) are arrayed and formed on a flat substrate (21). The array pitch interval of the array guide grooves is roughly coincident with the outer diameter of bare optical fibers (4a), (4b). The first optical fiber tape (6a) and the second optical fiber tape (6b) are disposed at the rear end side of the flat substrate (21) so as to overlap each other, wherein the first bare optical fibers (4a) of the first optical fiber tape (6a) and the second bare optical fibers (4b) of the second optical fiber tape (6b) are alternately array-converted and accommodated in the array guide grooves (22). The bare optical fibers (4a), (4b) are pressed from the upside of the bare optical fibers (4a),(4b) at the tip end side of the array, and they are placed and fixed in the array guide grooves. A filter insertion groove (17) is formed in the direction crossing the corresponding array guide grooves (22) at an area where the array guide grooves (22) are formed, a filter (16) is inserted into the filter insertion groove (17), and the filter (16) is attached to each of the second bare optical fibers (4b) at the second optical fiber tape (6b) side.

摘要： This invention relates to a hermetic compressor used on a refrigerant cycle such as a refrigerator, and discloses a low noise compressor designed to attenuate a resonance sound in a compression chamber and intake pressure pulsing more operatively at a position adjacent to their sources, which intake pressure pulsing occurs at an intake valve port. In the compressor, a resonance space 38 is provided adjacent to the intake valve port 29 that is closer in distance to a noise source. As a result, noise can be reduced more operatively than muffling functions of an intake muffler 31 do. In addition, although acoustic characteristics of the intake muffler 31 amplify noises having specific frequencies, such noises can be attenuated before being amplified.
