摘要: A water detecting means 5 and an operation designating means for operating a depth measuring function means 6 are arranged. When the water detecting means 5 detects water, the depth measuring function means 6 is forcibly operated by the operation designating means. When a depth state representing a value smaller than a predetermined depth value continues for a predetermined period of time, although the water detecting means detects water, a wet alarm is displayed, and the operation of the depth measuring function means is terminated. Also in a non-diving mode, a 0-m depth reference pressure is measured and stored at predetermined time intervals.

摘要: A sensor signal processing apparatus for measuring a physical quantity through the use of a sensor. A data processor automatically provides an operation equation by applying two known physical quantities, at two points, to the sensor and storing the data at these two points in a pair of memories. The quantities in the memories are then converted in accordance with a sensor characteristics equation and displayed on a display unit. In addition, a battery is used to supply the data processor with power. If that battery's voltage level falls below a certain point an alarm is sounded, indicating that the battery should be replaced.

摘要: An improved cardiotachometer comprises a transmitting section and a receiving section. The transmitting section includes a detection circuit for detecting electrocardiographic signals obtained from a pair of electrodes mounted near the heart of a human body. The transmitting section processes and transmits the electrocardiographic data with ID code data to the receiving section in the form of a radio signal. The receiving section?! compares the transmitted ID code with a stored ID code. If the two codes do not agree, the receiving section does not make any calculations or modify the previous signal. If the two codes agree, a genuine reception has resulted and the receiving section computes a heart rate based on the electrocardiographic data. A display section displays the computed heart rate. The use of the ID code comparison method eliminates erroneous reception of signals generated by noise or interference by the receiving section.

摘要: A multistage fine-hole machining device has lap stations for lapping an inner surface defining a through-hole of a workpiece. Each of the lap stations has a passing unit for passing wire through the through-hole of the workpiece, a supply unit for supplying a polishing material to the wire, and a sliding unit for effecting relative sliding movement between the workpiece and the wire while the wire is passed through the through-hole of the workpiece and is supplied with the polishing material to thereby lap the inner surface of the workpiece with the polishing material and enlarge the diameter of the through-hole. A transfer device successively transfers the workpiece to each of the lap stations to lap the inner surface of the workpiece at each of the lap stations during the lapping operation for successively enlarging the diameter of the through-hole to a preselected diameter.

摘要: A spindle apparatus comprises a main shaft mounted for rotary movement, a rotating device for rotating the main shaft about an axis, a vibration device for vibrating the main shaft, a detecting device for detecting a displacement of the main shaft when the main shaft is vibrated by the vibration device and providing an output signal indicative of the displacement of the main shaft, a calculating device for calculating an allowable revolution speed of the main shaft on the basis of the output signal of the detecting device, and a drive source for driving the rotating device to rotate the main shaft within a speed range which does not exceed the allowable revolution speed. When an end of the main shaft is vibrated by the vibration device, a displacement of the vibrated main shaft is detected by the detecting device which provides an output signal indicative of the detected displacement. The calculating device calculates an allowable revolution speed of the main shaft on the basis of the output signal of the detecting device and outputs the calculated allowable revolution speed to the drive source. The drive source drives the rotating device to rotate the main shaft within a speed range which does not exceed the allowable revolution speed.
