The moving block 2 has a rolling part 8 made of steel and having the loaded rolling-element rolling part 8c, a mounting part 9 connected to the rolling part 8, having a mounting surface 9a for mounting the moving block 2 onto a counterpart device and having a specific gravity lower than that of the rolling part 8, and a return part 10 made of resin and having the rolling-element return passage 10a. As three materials different in strength and specific gravity are arranged in respective appropriate parts of the moving block, the moving block 2 can combine the strength with weight reduction.
